Fira Palace leaves a great deal to be desired.
-It could use new bedding and decorating. The room is wornout out looking and uncomfortable.
-The TV channels are very limited.
-The reception desk is apathetic, unfriendly and not at all
- The gym is worn down and half of the machines are broken. Really depressing atmosphere there.
-The restaurant food is overpriced with very little variety of food offerings including room-service
-The location of the hotel is not good for tourists because it is out of the way from the center of town and all activity...it is a dead neighborhood
- It does not deserve the 4 stars at all
The room was slightly larger than the usual and very clean. The shower with three jets was separate from the bath tub. There was a flat screen TV with very good reception, most programs were in Spanish but some news show were in English. The
room included two queen beds, a love seat, coffee table, desk and chair and the usual closet spaces.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
There was a wonderful art museum nearby with a great view of the city since it was set higher up. During the evening the many fountains were turned on with various colored lights and water works set to music. The water and light show lasted an hour and it was very nice. Snack areas and tables were on the grounds.
