Snazzy hideaway with a rooftop pool a hop and a skip from the beach
A quick walk away from the beach and Puerto Olimpico, Confortel Barcelona is a sleek modern hotel with a full spectrum of facilities. In addition to free Wi-Fi in the contemporary guest rooms, the hotel features a rooftop swimming pool. Right next to the pool is a fitness center and a sun terrace. The on-site restaurant specializes in Mediterranean fare. The location, steps away from the beach, is superb. The city centre is easily accessible via a short four-stop ride on the metro.

l'alianca poble nou..out the front of the hotel,,go right one block,,,across the strett on the right..really good..reasonably priced outdoor dining,,english menu and english speaking staff...

Barcelona stay
travel with daughter for study abroad program. Hotel was very clean. it took a long time to check in upon arrival. We had to wait for 5 1/2 hours with no early check in. Most of the staff was friendly however the initial staff members we met were not very friendly or helpful. This was the first trip abroad I have taken. over all the experience was very nice.

The Hotel is a short train ride to Las Ramblas. It was quiet and they provided a decent Breakfast.Definitly would stay again.One block north of the Hotel is another "Ramblis"Where the locals go. Much less people and money

Very content.
Pros: Very clean, modern, decent price. Had to print out a copy of my airplane boarding pass in the morning, and they let me slip behind the desk to do it. Quite helpful. Cons: Hotel sign outside was being held together with string, looked like it had just gotten run over by a hurricane or something. Also, not at the fault of the hotel, we were woken up multiple times per morning by loud construction nearby. Reservation was for a full bed, but instead we got two twin beds - not very conducive to cuddling.

There's nothing to eat anywhere near this hotel, definitely have to take the metro a stop or two away to have any real options.

Beautiful, contemporary hotel, close to Metro, friendly staff
The hotel was a beautiful, contemporary hotel. Very modern, clean. A pleasant surprise and a great value. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a place to relax. The free minibar was an extra plus. However, our stay was still pleasant. Unfortunately, my son had to make a makeshift bed on the floor.

sijainti hyvä
Ravintolassa illalla ruoka todella kehnoa, esim.pizza tuotiin aivan jäisenä pöytään(joku valmispizza), muut ruuat olivat myös huonoja-jäivät syömättä. Huone melko ankea, siivous näennäisesti ok, mutta lattiat likaiset.

Schönes hotel
Das Hotel ist wunderschön eingerichtet und gross. Wir waren aber nur zum Shoppen in Barcelona und für uns war es zu abgeschieden vom Zentrum. Aber ansonsten sehr zum empfehlen, da auch der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe ist

Barcelona 2013
nicht weit zum Strand und zur Metrostation
in 5 Minuten ist man am Strand oder bei der nächsten Metrostation. Das Hotel ist originell eingerichtet, jedoch sollte beschädigtes Mobiliar ausgetauscht werden. Etwas störend waren die dreckigen Fugen im Badezimmer. Ansonsten war das Zimmer aber sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet für jeden etwas und man kann bis 11.00 Uhr frühstücken :-) Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel mit tollem Ausblick und Dachterrasse.

Confortel Barcelona huhtikuu 2013
Hotelli sijaitsi rauhallisella alueella, lähellä rantaa jossa oli ihana käydä ulkoilemassa. Metrolla pääsi hyvin liikkumaan, kannattaa ostaa 10 lipun kortti jolla voi likkua julkisilla kulkuvälineillä. Hotelli oli rauhallinen ja siisti. Huonesiivous toimi hyvin. Henkilökunta puhui hyvin englantia ja oli avuliasta. Aamupala olisi maksanut 15 e/aamu mikä oli huippukallis. Kannattaa käydä lähikahvilassa aamupalalla tai hakea huoneeseen aamupalatarvikkeet kaupasta kuten me teimme.

Preis/Leistung perfekt
Saubere große Zimmer, freundliches englischsprechendes Personal, Strandnahe und verkehrsgünstige Lage, trotzdem nachts sehr ruhig, nette Frühstück Cafe's in kurzem Fußweg, 2 Metrostationen in 5 min. Mietwagen am besten in Tiefgarage lassen (allerdings ca. 17,50€/Tag), teure öffentliche Parkplätze Mangelware ca. 2,50€/Std
