A good hotel with European HVAC
Everything was fine-polite staff, comfortable room. But like nearly all European hotels there is supposedly air conditioning but it never works. Also Europeans must think that ice is a precious commodity unavailable to the hoi polloi. Sorry to vent my spleen at Europe-this was a very nice hotel.

Business trip
I was in Spain for a business trip; I've arrived in Barcelona in the evening for a meeting and the day after I had to take another flight at early morning. Hotel was great, clean and modern. Bed was okay and bathrooms was very clean. There is the shuttle bus that depart every 20 minutes to the airport but I've preferred to take a taxi because I don't like to wait. Taxi service is good too.

Great Hotel
Great hotel, clean and great price. Close to the airport/cruise port. There is a shuttle available to/ from the port for very low price ,this is not mentioned on travel site or the hotel website. You have to call and reserve this shuttle.

Close to airport
This hotel was great for a stop over. Staff were friendly. Shuttle buses really easy to use both for getting to and from the airport and also for getting to Las Rambla. Only complaint was the air conditioning wasn't very effective.

Wouldn't stay again.
I could not believe how noisy this hotel was, not outside noise, inside noise. The doors, like most hotels, had a tendency to slam unless you held onto the door. I went to bed at 10 PM, I could hear LOUD banging of doors, continuously until 4 AM when I finally fell asleep. How can people be so rude. This hotel needs to install auto door closer that soften the closing sound. The room was comfortable, hotel beautiful, pool wonderful but I would never stay again.

Stoked on Barcelona
Fantastic way to end our trip!
The Renaissance Barcelona Airport Hotel well surpassed our expectations in every way. Besides the free shuttle service to and from the airport, they also provided free shuttle service downtown to and from Las Ramblas. The breakfast buffet was incredible....fresh made omelets, pancakes, and waffles, as well as, bacon, sausage, muffins, croissants, granola, and a variety of fruit. There was also ham and cheese and rolls for sandwiches. Since we had to catch our flight before breakfast the second day, the staff allowed us to take a "to go" box, bowls and spoons. And the concierge was friendly and most accommodating! Just minutes from the airport, it doesn't get better than this. I highly recommend staying at the Renaissance Barcelona Airport Hotel.

Good Stuff
Nice room, huge beds - though the mattress was a bit hard - nice shower with rain head and hand-held faucets, clean, free internet, private. Convenient and efficient shuttle to airport.
