Marina Internacional Apartments

Have traveled throughout Europe over the years and enjoyed ourselves but this leg of our trip was disappointing in some respects. The photos of the apartment interior were deceptive and made them look a lot better than actual rooms. If you can't walk up stairs, don't choose this place. The apartments were located on the Marina right next to the beach(good). Pool was very nice and not overcrowded. It had two restaurants below that were very good. Owners and waitstaff were very friendly and helpful, but you need to know a little spanish or have someone in your party that speaks it (our grandaughter). Have live entertainment (Music/singing) several nights a week. Was able to walk to grocery, shopping areas and promenade from apartment. Bad part of apartment: 1 - WI-FI only worked part-time from Apt 612. If you went out into the stairwell or down to the restaurant (open air) eating tables you could get full access (not good if it rains). 2- Electric burner of stove only element that worked, three gas burners did not come on. 3- Washer, did not function properly even after the "repair guy" came and "fixed it". Only small loads can be done. There is no dryer only a cloths drying table,like an ironing board,with plastic rungs to hang or lay clothing (located on the not large balcony with full size patio table and four side chairs (not in good repair). Cloths may not dry even if left out overnight. 3-Bathroom: Shower head was not permanently fixed to wall, it always spilled water onto floor and the shower curtain was ripped off two of the end rings. Toilet seat was set partially under the pedestal sink. 4- TV was hard to get turned on and only had channels 39-58 that had to be input by pushing the channel up button 38 times to get to the channel location, the remote would not allow number input choice. Reception staff were somewhat courteous but didn't know much about local sites. One of them suggested the Tourist Office 1/2 mile away on Promenade. You would have to walk because parking on local streets is almost next to impossible finding an open space. Parking at the hotel is available for $8 Euro/day Safe Deposit (not in room) is $6 Euro/wk Would not stay at apartments again. But would eat at restaurants again.

Hotelli oli aivan venesatamassa, lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rantabulevardista. Helmikuun 2012 lopussa ainakin huoneessa ollut ilmalämpöpumppu ei pystynyt pitämään tiloja lämpimänä, tokkopa kesällä vilpoisanakaan. Kosteat tilat olivat jää kylmät. Aamiainen aivan surkea. Kahvi - patonginpuolikas + marmeladi. Pysäköinti hotellin edessä puomien sisällä noin 20 € / yö. (20.00-8.00) Kadun varrassa ilmainen jos tilaa löytyy. Huoneeseen kuului uima-altaalta kaikki äänet, vaikka oli hiljainen aika, oli äänet häiritseviä, kuten myös ilmalämpöpumpun sammuminen ja käynnistyminen 40 sek välein. Hotellin yhteydessä olevien ravintoloiden hinnat korkeammat huomattavasti keskustan hinta tasoon verrattuna.

Trevligt hotell med utmärkt läge intill Marinan och stranden. Nära till det mesta...Bra med tvättmaskin i lägenheten! Trevliga små restauranger/barer i området. Återkommer gärna.
