The hotel was16 miles away, but walking distance away from the town of Alcala De Heneres - filled with shops and small restaurants. The staff was attentive and patient with tourists; however, it was more of a siness hotel therefore there were few
small children and families. We had three to a double bed room and they brought in an extra bed with no issues or charge. The breakfast was the same each morning but variety of foods to choose from. The room was quaint, but very elegant with new modern designs. There is no view and no pool. There's a small grocery store down the street to buy extra food. Also, you can park on the street for free rather than their parking garage.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Mercadona (grocery store) is a walk away so you can stock up on water, etc. in your room.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The bed however was very uncomfortable and the room was small, which I can understand since everything is small in Spain. Everything around the area closes at 10pm at night. A decent location if you are
not planning on traveling into Madrid and only staying to see Alcala de Henares itself. I'd probably stay there again only if I wasn't traveling to specifically see Madrid. I definitely would recommend to a friend, but again... only if staying in the region.
