Good location at the right price!

The Hotel is located near Apgujeon which is the richest area in seoul, this is the Fifth Avenue of NY with high priced restaurants , boutiques and clothing stores. The hotel is clean and has parking, very convinient to those driving. Free internet was a plus, but does not have the luxury of 3 or 4 star hotels, some might even think that is a motel. The building is small but the rooms are larger than some 4 star hotels. The room was good for the money!

Great Value

Hotel Sunshine is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in Korea. Because of past experiences booking online, I didn't have high expectations for the quality of the room, but was delighted to find that the room was clean and spacious, almost to the point of luxury. I'd recommend asking for a room that doesn't face the street as it was a little noisy.

Great Value

Hotel Sunshine in Seoul was a great value and the perfect place to stay during our weekend in the city. The hotel has many great amenities such as a coffee shop, night club, and bar. We didn't take advantage of these but it was nice to know that they were there if we wanted them. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and provided all of the services and items that we needed. This is not the hotel to go to if you're looking for something fancy or luxurious (although the affordable price should indicate that) but it was very satisfactory for us. It seemed to be in a pretty good location as well. The only things I would suggest they could improve upon were the overpriced breakfasts they offered (we chose to go elsewhere for breakfast) and the English competency of the staff. The staff seemed to speak English fairly well but there was one instance in which I had some trouble communicating with just one of the staff members - and I emphasize one. The rest of the staff spoke English well. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would like to emphasize that this hotel was a great value.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There's a great Chinese restaurant at the large intersection down the street, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Beverly Hills shopping district of Seoul. There's also a movie theatre and some western restaurants (Pizza Hut and Coldstone) within walking distance, and lots of Korean restaurants and good shopping all around.
