okay but not worth the money

first of all, it's not a hotel, it's a motel -a love motel. the times i used the elevator, there was always a "couple" coming or leaving with, and the girls aare always looking down and hiding their faces. hallway carpet is old and dirty. i paid for the junior suite but was given a standard room. the size of the standard room was okay, but it smelled really bad. i called and mentioned that i had paid for the junior suite and they firmly said no. so i went downstairs to show them my receipt. they gave me a new room, which was bigger but still not the 'suite' standard i was expecting. don't be fooled by the pictures. staff was not friendly but one good thing is one person in the staff knew some english. best thing about the hotel was location. close to the subway -walking distance and lots of shops/restaurants nearby. one subway stop from hongik university.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

one subway stop from hongik university, which is a very nice area, very lively with a downtown feel, and many good restaurants (indian, vietnamese, thai, mexican, etc...) trick eye museum is also in the university area.
