good for short business step over

Pros: Airport limousine stop right at the front door. Convenient stores, fast food and resturants within walking distance. Cons: Noisy from dusk to dawn due to subway #9 construction (It may take a couple of years to complete). No free internet access.

Nice stay

The Ramada was a strong walk uphill from the subway (in the rain). Hotel staff very friendly and completely helpful. Room was lovely - with the one exception of a VERY HARD mattress! I had to double up the quilt to get any comfort at all. But everything else was first-class. Have to say, their doorman was absolutely the BEST! Handy to have the bus leave for the airport from right in front of the hotel, too. Would stay there again.

An acceptable alternative

The room is smallish by US standards but probably on par for Europe or Asia at this price point. If you want to eat breakfast at the hotel try to get it included in the rate. The separate cost was $60 for two people, and it is only a typical buffet.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

The COEX mall is about 1 km and offers many restaurants at fair prices. The hotel restaurant and mini bar prices are stupidly set, and the asking price insults the guests' intelligence. Anyone with any travel experience can recognize that. There is a convenience store around the corner with far better prices on drinks and snacks.

It is an average hotel stay given

It is an average hotel stay given the price paid. The location is quiet and nice is the room is facing the national tomb park which gives an excellent view of the seoul city from the hotel room as well .

Our stay at this hotel was everything we had hoped it would be. The room was wonderful and the bed VERY comfortable. The staff bent over backwards to meet our every need. Though on the pricey side, it was worth it.

Stayed for 5days or so, really

Stayed for 5days or so, really liked the feeling of the room, very nice but also welcoming, always happy to come back to the room after shopping, dinner. People were very friendly and professional, their English is very good, had an occasional chat with the concierge. Actually it was a great place to stay in Seoul. Train stop is 10 min walk away, bus is just ourside. In Seoul taxis are very inexpensive, so it is always easy to take a taxi to the destination or the next train station.
