The hotel also offers children facilities, dry cleaning, lobby and reception. Notice: For customers coming with their pet, a deposit of KRW 1,000,000 and a cleaning fee of KRW 55,000 are required by the hotel.

Very comfortable, perfect location
The hotel is listed as a family hotel. The rooms are fitted out as a house - dishwasher, full-size fridge, plates, pans etc. Great swimming pool and spa. Perfect location, 5-min walk to the subway, elevator takes you down to the COEX Center - conference, exhibition venue + a nice mall with lots of restaurants and shops. BUT - there always must be a but - hotel's staff english language skills are limited - sometimes it might lead to confusion. And no free wifi internet (88$/month which is a rip-off) in the rooms.

Great location for business trip
I normally stay at another hotel in Kangnam but chose to stay at Oakwood to give it a try. Location is ideal for business trip as it is central to COEX airport terminal as well as restaurants, taxi and bus access.

Good hotel, but watch out for reservation lag
The hotel is fine and is located in a convenient part of town for long term business stays (close to bus terminal to airport and subway and on top of a big shopping mall). Most rooms have kitchenettes, but all have LCD TVs with about 10-12 English speaking channels, and wired Internet in the room (for about $18/day or free on the 5th floor lounge). However, when you make reservations on Orbitz you should make sure you make them at least 4-5 days prior to your day of arrival and call the hotel before you arrive, to confirm that they have your room. On my last visit, I had made two reservations for two separate rooms 3 days prior to arrival, but they only had one of the confirmations, even though i had prepaid for both rooms through Orbitz. They were not able to give me two rooms as they claimed the hotel was fully booked, but they did provide one larger room to accommodate everyone in the party. This may have been okay for a family but not very professional for a business trip. They also did very little to compensate us for the inconvenience especially since they admitted the problem was between them and Orbitz. (they found the missing reservations two days after our arrival).

Bus terminal to airport about 100 yards from hotel. $15 to ICN airport. Buses are very comfortable and go non-stop from the terminal to ICN in about 60 minutes.
