The high-rise property is also steps from the COEX Convention Center and a short distance from tourist destinations. A staffed business center, indoor pool and well-stocked fitness center offer guests convenient amenities during their stay. An aviation-inspired lounge on the 30th floor flaunts modern cuisine and skyline views.

Highlights
  • Located above COEX Mall, with shops, aquarium, movie theatre and casino
  • Indoor lap pool, driving range and jogging track
  • Adjacent to COEX Convention Center
  • Three full-service restaurants
Rooms

Great hotel but a bit far from central

Service was excellent, facilities were great, connected to a casino, duty-free mall, and aquarium! The only negative thing is distance to Myeongdong/city center... not bad when there's no traffic, but 8/10 it is a long ride getting across the bridge. If you don't mind the distance (taxis are cheap so it's not a problem if you have time on your hands), this is a great hotel! Highly recommended.

great hotel in seoul

came to visit some friends who lived in budang. did sightseeing, and enjoyed a drink or five. great area since the hotel is right above the COEX mall with plenty of stores to shop from. the Seoul metro is on the opposite side of the block(15 min brisk walk)and you can go above ground and view the nice skyline or stay below ground in the mall which connectes the hotel to the subway. on my last night there, my friends and i enjoyed a little too much soju and the doorman at the Intercontinental was respectful and helpful to get me into my room with no problems.

Great Atmosphere

The Intercontinental was a very busy hotel, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a family vacation to a hotel that obviously catered to the business side with the conference center next door but still the staff never neglected anyone. Access to shopping mall was very easy and tours available were very useful.
