Very Good Hotel

This hotel is gorgeous. It is right in the heart of Gangnam district where the financial and IT businesses are located. The hotel staff is kind and they speak very good English too. I recommend this hotel to travelers to Seoul. One down side though is the price which seems pretty expensive compared to the Ritz Carlton Seoul or the W Hotel Seoul but the expensive pricing is all compensated by the location being the best. If you are a tourist and would like something more luxurious for the bang without location requests go for the W Hotel instead.

Great Hotel in Gangnam

Great Hotel in Gangnam area. While they do cater heavily towards the business customer, I was there with my family along with another family. Other than their no minors allowed in the pool policy, we had a great experience. Located right above a couple different malls (Coex being one of them), there was always something to do or see. Major rail station downstairs so getting around was a breeze. Staff was super courteous and helpful, and all spoke English. Cel phone available in the room, with minimal fees... Add in the easy access to great food in walking distance, as well as a Casino and duty free shopping, the Grand Parnas will definitely be our choice for hotel on our next visit to Seoul!

Ask the concierge about eating places nearby. They directed us to great eating places that were within a 10 minute walk.

Great Hotel...

Great experience in Seoul, and the Intercontinental Grand was a big part of it. All staff that we ran into were extremely helpful, and they all spoke English very well. The only 2 things that I think could have been better would be cheaper or free internet (free in the lobby) and also lowering the child age (they have it set at 12) to use the pool. I understand that they heavily cater to the business crowd, so I can't really fault them for that though. The location of the hotel has got to be one of the best in Seoul. Would definitely stay there again when I return

Grand Intercontinental Seoul

The club level is the best, free internet, free breakfast and snack throughout the day. free Cocktails after 5 pm. Spotless service and the location is great for business, shopping and entertainment. Near the city air terminal (one minute walk) where you can hop onto an airport shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes
