IMPERIAL PALACE

If this is supposed to be one of the best places in the city, perhaps skip Seoul... We may have had a dudd room, but even still it was dated (furnishings, technology, style circa 1983) and while clean, showed its age -- in the new "sketchy" wiring popping out from below the carpets, the black edges of the carpet, which may have been mould (we weren't there long enough to bother to find out) and the stretched lumpy carpet that we kept tripping over. Service was good and based on the cars at the door there was quite bit of money here, so I can only guess that somewhere in this hotel are nicer rooms. As far as location, travelers visiting for the first time probably want to stay closer to city hall, as we found were making our way to this part of town quite often. The hotel does have easy access to the subway. All in all, one is probably better off getting a higher end room in a mid-range hotel rather than a mid-range room at the Imperial Palace.

ドアマンの数が少ないせいか、荷物が多く手助けを借りたい時に、誰も手伝ってくれず、不快な思いをしました。中にはとても気持ちのよい対応をしてくれるスタッフ（例えば、 Susan）もいるのですが、９割方は感じが悪いです。チェックイン時も「I prefer メンバーなので、インターネットが無料だよね？」と確認した際も、「そんなことはない」と一点張り。その時２回も同僚にも確認したようです。が、最終的には彼らの認識が間違っていて、無料との謝罪のメッセージを受け取りました。 ただ、よい点もいくつかあります。空港から３０分間隔でリムジンバスがでています（但し、ホテルへ向かう際は、ホテルの敷地内ではなく、ホテルの前の大きな道路の反対側で下ろされます！つまり、自分で荷物を運ばなければなりません）。 インターネットの速さは、まあ満足いくものです。また、エントランスでバンドが生演奏していて、中々雰囲気がよいです。客室におかれている AVADA のシャンプーや石鹸類は、質がよいのでしょう。私はこれで癒されています！全般的には、立地、設備等、まあよいホテルだと思いますが、スタッフの感じの悪さと値段が少し高すぎる点は改善して欲しい・・・と思います。ただ、昨今のソウルはG20等のイベントが多いため、どこのホテルも高めに値段が設定され、しかも予約自体が取りにくい売り手市場のため、仕方ないのでしょうか？

思っていた以上によかった！また泊まりたい。

機場bus下車後, 馬上有hotel服務人員從對面跑過來幫忙拿行李, 很好凡服務..

ドアの覗き窓の箱が外れていた。二日目、部屋の電気がつかなかった（すぐ修理が来てなおったが、言葉が通じなかったので何が原因だったのかわからなかった。　）
