Hotel Elle Inn

Location was great (just a few minutes walk from Namyeong station), but if you have lots of luggage make sure to take the taxi from Seoul Station (taxi should be ~$5 wheras Namyeong station doesn't have escalators). We are high-intensity tourists, so we only used the room to shower and sleep. Ups: - location. Taxi rides from Dongdaemun market or Coex mall were <$7 (subways close after midnight) . - visibility (tall lighted building can be seen easily from train station/taxi) which made it easy to find. - pretty clean. basic room with fresh towels and bathrobes. - their english service was good enough. - wifi was good (in-room computer station was usable but definitely our laptops were better). - definitely one of our cheapest options. Downs: - room layout: no door between bathroom and beds in our twin room. One of us had to turn our back using our laptops while the other showered. - shower curtain: a little dirty. - a little hot/muggy even though we went in Feb, but was mostly corrected by opening the window.

The hotel is very close to Namyoung station which has it's good and bad. Just one stop from there to Seoul station where you can take the airport railroad to Inchoen (~50mins ride). The downside is that you can almost hear the jingle they play every time the train arrives at the station. (I was on 8th floor). The room was nice and they provided a PC in the room (which will be useful if you can use korean windows) Also the bed was quite hard. Other than that everything's good

this is a great hotel, I have stayed here a few times. The staff speak Korean and English. Everything in the room is in Korean, with English translation from the hotel amenity guide to the remote control (which controls, lights, a/c, tv, and more!!! All with one remote. Room had a Jacuzzi tub... a two person tub which is a great amenity. The room has business type cards with the directions to the hotel in Korean and English that you can just show to a Taxi Driver or other Korean in case you get lost. Centrally located for sightseeing, business, and military personnel in Seoul

we arrived at Incheon Intn. Airport and simply took the only railroad/subway line to Seoul Station ( Central Railway Station in the city of Seoul ). From there take the line 1 to the next station called Namyeong - from there you find the hotel within 400 meters. Elle Inn is centrally located and close to many attractions. The Seoul City Bus will stop at the USO/nearby the Elle Inn and this bus drives tourists around for 10 USD all day long - go on and get off the bus whereever you want - great!

After reading all the bad reviews, I was wondering did I pick the wrong hotel, but when I got there, it was very different from the reviews that I read. I was close to the subways which made that better for me, very close to the shopping area and eating spots. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that, it was kind of hard for the taxi drivers to find, and the hotel beds were a little on the discomfort side.

I was in Seoul visiting my military husband, and the hotel was located not too far from base. We had a great stay at the hotel. It was located near a couple of different subway gates, which was great for getting around the city. Some of the taxi drivers don't know where Hotel Elle Inn is located, but it wasn't that big of a deal. We would just tell them Hotel Kaya (which is right next to Hotel Elle Inn), and they knew exactly where to go. Also, the hotel puts cards in the room that says the address of the hotel. The rooms were quite nice. The room has a huge whirlpool tub, a flat screen tv, computer w/ internet, a fridge with complimentary drinks, and a cold/hot water dispenser. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
