Best Western Premier Hotel Kukdo Seoul

This hotel is not to far from central Seoul but the neighborhood is not very nice. For Seoul I thought the area was rather run down. I only stayed here because my hotel of choice was booked out. The staff was friendly and spoke good English, but I don't think I will stay here again. Alan Sacramento CA

It has good location. Only my concern was this hotel has main control of Air condition and heater. Later night I have got cold but I can not turn on the heater. other than that, everything went great. I will go back to the hotel whenever plan back to Korea.

As a foreigner, Korean is not my mastered language and I had a hard time verbally telling taxi driver where I want to go...i had to write everything down in han-gu....except for this place, just say Kukdo Hotel (with an accent) and most taxi drivers knows this place...ahhh...what a relief! Staffwise, it was pleasant, above global average, but I have meet so many more friendlier Koreans in and around Seoul. Location is very close to subway station, use exit #10, and you are literally steps away! Nothing really closeby to eat. Theres a small ajumma street food cafe to the left of the hotel as you walk out, if you need some food to hold you over-not the best though. I got a partial view of N-tower, which was nice. Make sure you press "Privacy" botton ON, if you plan on sleeping in. There is no added chain lock like most U.S hotels, to keep unwanted or unexpected guests out. I have seen other comments saying that the cleaning ladies got in while they were in the shower, this is the reason why. Rooms are small but adequate. Party of two people, would be crowded if more stayed together...maybe need to upgrade to larger room. I love the vanity space for all my stuff! The lock box was unbolted (like someone else had commented), but my belongings were ok...i felt like it was safe during the whole stay...

The room at this hotel was incredibly quiet, clean and relaxing. While the location wasn't ideal to walking to the main sights/shopping, it was certainly close enough to everything (10 minute taxi ride) and for the value, couldn't be beat. The money I saved by staying here more than made up for the $3 - $4 taxi fares it cost me to get to/from the main sights (that I couldn't walk to). However, if you are a walker, you can access some of the main areas within a 20 minute walk. I didn't mind walking as it gave me an opportunity to experience the city as it really is, not only in the touristy/shopping districts. I was a woman traveling alone and this city is VERY safe and non-threatening. The only downfall, there is NOWHERE to eat immediately surrounding this hotel so you have to plan around your meals. I ate two meals in the hotel and they were both overpriced and the food was edible, nothing more. There are only two convenience stores located adjacent to the hotel where you can buy beverages, snacks and soup. The hotel room has a small refrigerator.

明洞や東大門へのアクセスはいいです。バスタブがどうしても必要だという人はツインの予約が必要です。

１２月３１日の夕方に仁川空港に着き、高速バスでホテルまで移動したが、大晦日の渋滞でホテルまで２時間以上かかってしまった。バスはホテルの前に着くのでとてもわかりやすい。帰りも便利です。帰国日は記録的な大雪でバスでなく地下鉄で帰りました。ホテルの人のアドバイスで、すぐ近くの地下鉄５号線～金浦空港～仁川空港と簡単に移動できました。ホテルはフロント、部屋からの電話での問い合わせもすべて日本語で大丈夫でした。部屋でインターネットを無用で接続できるのは魅力です。部屋と部屋からの眺めは快適、利用はビジネスホ ルのように気楽に使えます。各階の廊下には無料のアイスボックスがありました。初めての韓国旅行の人でもお勧めできるホテルです。

大変綺麗なホテルでした。隣にファミリーマートもあり、ホテルの面前に空港行きのバスストップが位置し便利でした。明洞や南大門市場へはやはり地下鉄を利用しなければなりませんが、駅１、２分程度であり、明洞や南大門市場へも10分程度でした。但し、洗面施設がバスルームの外に設計されているのには違和感がありました。

空調もベストで、清潔、サービスも完璧でした。 是非お勧めいたします。
