A great place for a girls’ holiday with dedicated ladies rooms
The Best Western Kukdo is ideally situated, close to the business district, tourist attractions, shopping areas, and public transport. A well-equipped business center with secretarial services makes conducting business in Seoul easy. An onsite fitness center features a good mix of cardio and weight training equipment, while a restaurant offers a mix of local and international dishes.

Great value, beautiful room!
The room at this hotel was incredibly quiet, clean and relaxing. While the location wasn't ideal to walking to the main sights/shopping, it was certainly close enough to everything (10 minute taxi ride) and for the value, couldn't be beat. The money I saved by staying here more than made up for the $3 - $4 taxi fares it cost me to get to/from the main sights (that I couldn't walk to). However, if you are a walker, you can access some of the main areas within a 20 minute walk. I didn't mind walking as it gave me an opportunity to experience the city as it really is, not only in the touristy/shopping districts. I was a woman traveling alone and this city is VERY safe and non-threatening. The only downfall, there is NOWHERE to eat immediately surrounding this hotel so you have to plan around your meals. I ate two meals in the hotel and they were both overpriced and the food was edible, nothing more. There are only two convenience stores located adjacent to the hotel where you can buy beverages, snacks and soup. The hotel room has a small refrigerator.

Long walk from hotel
Shopping in Seoul is an experience for sure although, as an American, I didn't find anything to be so much less than what I can find it for here in the USA (if you know where to shop). Clothes were about the same but you can rarely try them on. They were stylish however. Knock off pocketbooks and watches were overpriced and you can find them cheaper in Chinatown in NYC. My thought was "Why buy stuff in Seoul, to save a few bucks, when I can buy in closer to home, try it on, return it, etc for only a few dollars more".

１２月３１日の夕方に仁川空港に着き、高速バスでホテルまで移動
１２月３１日の夕方に仁川空港に着き、高速バスでホテルまで移動したが、大晦日の渋滞でホテルまで２時間以上かかってしまった。バスはホテルの前に着くのでとてもわかりやすい。帰りも便利です。帰国日は記録的な大雪でバスでなく地下鉄で帰りました。ホテルの人のアドバイスで、すぐ近くの地下鉄５号線～金浦空港～仁川空港と簡単に移動できました。ホテルはフロント、部屋からの電話での問い合わせもすべて日本語で大丈夫でした。部屋でインターネットを無用で接続できるのは魅力です。部屋と部屋からの眺めは快適、利用はビジネスホ ルのように気楽に使えます。各階の廊下には無料のアイスボックスがありました。初めての韓国旅行の人でもお勧めできるホテルです。

大変綺麗なホテルでした。隣にファミリーマートもあり、ホテルの
大変綺麗なホテルでした。隣にファミリーマートもあり、ホテルの面前に空港行きのバスストップが位置し便利でした。明洞や南大門市場へはやはり地下鉄を利用しなければなりませんが、駅１、２分程度であり、明洞や南大門市場へも10分程度でした。但し、洗面施設がバスルームの外に設計されているのには違和感がありました。
