perfect for layovers
Sky hotel is pretty much exactly as advertised - a convenient, clean place to lay your head during a layover in Seoul. Their free shuttle is reliable and easy to navigate - just walk up to any airport information desk after clearing customs and ask them to call Sky and the shuttle driver will come pick you up. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport in the city of Incheon. Which means it's quite far from Seoul (an hour or so via subway) but the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and a couple of 24-hour convenience stores. And if you are headed into Seoul (or just back to the airport but for some reason want to skip the free shuttle) the subway stop is an easy 5 or so block walk away. Upon check-in the front desk will ask what time you want a wake-up call and arrange for the shuttle back to the airport. The room is clean, the bed is big but firm (my experience is that most Korean beds are quite firm), the floor is heated so the room stays toasty warm, and the shower is huge. All in all, precisely what this tired traveler needed. Stayed here twice, once heading to and once returning from Nepal.
