Horrible hotel!
Looked like a nice modern hotel. Close to Joburg airport which what my colleague and I were looking for. But the rooms were freezing and the heaters in both rooms were broken. And who ever heard of an airport hotel which didn't have sound proof walls and windows! All night long, planes were landing and taking off. Not that often during the middle of the night. But often enough and wow, was it lound inside the rooms! Don't stay here!

You can do better
Shuttle runs only every hour (on hour from hotel on half hour from terminal). Room AC did not work, open window and extreme noise from bars and jets flying directly overhead. Would not stay again.

Airport Grand
I chose the hotel because of the free shuttle service. This is ideal for an overnight stay between flights. There is a hotel restaurant buffet, but it was rather pricey. A bonus was that there is free wi-fi at the hotel.

AIRPORT HOTEL
A great airport hotel - good shuttle service, good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall is that there is nowhere else to eat and the one restaurant does not have much choice if you are staying more than a night.

Short walk from hotel
There is a good shopping centre very close to the hotel but it is unsafe to go there after dark - it has everything one would need including some restaurants.

The hotel is very good, the services were excellent starting from the airport pickup , the rooms were neat and clean. The buffet breakfast was great. Location is quite right , very close to malls and other shopping areas. The family of six enjoyed staying there

The hotel was a little further
The hotel was a little further from the airport than I expected but the free shuttle every 30 minutes made it a convenient place to stay. The rooms were comfortable with reasonable food from the restaurant but the service was very slow, which is not good when you are tired and just want to get a quick meal,shower and get to sleep.

What a Pitt
Impossible to find, poor directions, not clean, noisy,lousy food, unfriendly services most of teh time, slow, but a nice lobby.
