Pleasant Surprise

Since this is not one of the "Western" Franchised Hotel, I was skeptical. But as soon as the Door man welcomed me with a sincere smile and the Front desk checked me in warmly, I was sold.... AND THEN I SAW THE ROOM..... I was just floored by the design, cleanliness and charm of the room. Throughout my 3 nights stay, I was very happy, and in fact my mood stayed better because of the hotel and its staff.... Of course, the location is superb to.

50th birthday holiday

Our apartment was great, very clean and well fitted out. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the free wireless Internet went down for a week. We were promised vouchers which never materialised. That is the only negative, other wise I would have no hesitation in recommending Mandela Rhodes Place.

Mandela Rhodes Place

First class from start to finish. Very professional staff. We needed a room with some disability access and a member of the staff showed us five different rooms, seeking to find one that was satisfactory for us. After my time there, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Cape Town.
