The hotel is very new and modern.
The hotel is very new and modern. The room is relatively small, but spotless with a comfortable bed, desk and lounge chair. The bathroom is also very well equiped (large shower and separate bath tub). Note that the bathroom is completely open (no doors and "see through" to the bedroom). The toilet is separate (with a door). Breakfast was good, though not exceptional. The restaurant does provide some nice, well presented dishes for lunch or dinner. The location is good (3 minute walk to the convention center). The hotel is pranged between the container terminal and the highway, but neither were disturbing to me. The highway is still quite a distance away; the container terminal is very close. I can imagine that a room overlooking the container terminal can be very noisy. The only downside I experienced was the internet. It is charged at 60 ZAR per 50 MB, which means having to purchase new vouchers several times a day when using the internet and email regularly.

A Cape Town Gem
My sis and I made an excellent choice with Harbour Bridge Hotel & Suites. It is very well situated near the Cape Town waterfront which is so very picturesque and full of activity. We stayed in a posh location for a very reasonable rate (next door to top rate hotels). Our hotel staff provided excellent support - very helpful and friendly. Among other conveniences, we had our choice of taking a 10-minute walk, a water taxi or one on land to the harbor location for restaurants, tours, the aquarium, along with a host of other very interesting activities.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Do both the RED and BLUE BUS tours of the city - you will see different aspects of Cape Town and be pleasantly surprised with all that you see. This city is a totally fabulous 'value for your money' destination.

It's really the place to go on Cape Town. You are close to the Waterfront and can as well go walking downtown where you have everything to do. Staff is very helpful and the hotel is really great quality. Would definitely recommend it to go both for pleasure and/or business!

Staff was very friendly, room was clean but small bathroom. Location was close to Convention Center, but required taxi to go anywhere. We could walk to a pick-up for a City Tour, red or blue.
