Perfect location. Staff were wonderful!

Would recommend Wed, Jul 15, 2015
Due to personal matters my stay in South Africa was cut very short. As a result I had to make several room changes-canceling one night but adding two-at the last minute. Staff were extremely accommodating. I stayed in three different rooms over the four nights. One was a complimentary upgrade and it was a very spacious efficiency. The next room was quite small but comfortable nonetheless, and the last room was a roomy mid-sized double. I spent time at Table Mountain National Park-a must see and the waterfront-excellent fish and chips. I recommend the hotel's restaurant if you like steak-reasonably priced.

Great location

Would recommend Tue, Feb 17, 2015
Great location. Large room with kitchenette, but no utensils so confirm these are available in advance. We were on 9th floor so views of table mountain spectacular and stepped out of room onto patio/sun terrace/pool. Excellent staff, very professional. Loved the piano player over breakfast each morning, nice start to the day. Good choice at breakfast and the best steak in a long time at the in-house Butchers Grill. Would recommend.

Good value, centrally located hotel

Would recommend Mon, Feb 9, 2015
I think we have stayed in this hotel on 5 occasions and always helpful and friendly staff. Great central location. Just 3 things to be aware of: no free wi-fi, parking costs R60 per night and the roof top pool is only a splash pool and not for serious swimmers. The rooms are a good size, and well equipped. Will stay again.

4-Stars on a budget

Would recommend Mon, Aug 19, 2013
Excellent hotel with great service. The general manager intentionally keeps the price down during the off-season to fill up the rooms. They try to make up their difference in add-ons like internet (which is ridiculously expensive) or taxis (which are about 40% more expensive than a regular taxi). However, for the price you pay it is awesome and the location is perfect.

Nice Hotel

Would not recommend Tue, Jul 9, 2013
The Hotel is good (not wow). Missing to have a dedicated staff for guest recreation. Breakfast was not up to the level of 4 stars. But in general, it is an ordinary hotel.

Lovely hotel - good launch pad for Cape visit

Would recommend Fri, Jan 18, 2013
Only crticism was that the air con unit was very noisy - either needed replacing or a good service - otherwise the stay was excellent - would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my two days in Cape Town.

Would recommend Tue, Jan 17, 2012
From the moment I entered this hotel, I was amazed at how efficient and polite the front desk staff was to me. They had my bags up in my room before I got there. They exchanged some of my large denomination Rand bills for some smaller denomination bills so that I could pay the cab drivers. The room was spacious and very clean; the bed was very comfortable, and the T.V. worked well. The small refrigerator was well stocked and the bathroom shower was very refreshing. The Steak Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was first class and the breakfast on the 5th floor was equally as good. The location of the hotel coudn't have been more convenient for travel around the city.

Dining

Eat at the hotel! The food and service were just Great!
