Great Location!

Really loved staying in Robertson Quay and the loft was a unique experience. Could not make breakfast at the hotel...but found out that across the street at the Book Cafe....they offer 30% discount for hotel guests at Studio M and food there is great. Only complaints i have is while in the swimming pool it started to rain....which was great, because i finally had enough room to swim laps. One of the staff kicked me out of the pool-said we can not swim when it rains out? In the safety regulation chart say's no swimming during thunderstorms-was not a thunderstorm...just rain. I did complain to him-told him it was stupid...i am in the pool and already wet and i could see if it was a thunderstorm with lightning? I was also kicked out of the fitness center [did not have the proper foot wear]. Wanted to scream at them to leave me alone...i am a grown adult...do not need a baby sitter...that i am a firefighter...certified e.mt....diver...etc..,can take care of myself.

Across the street at the Book Cafe they offer 30% discount for hotel guests...just have to show them your key card. There are many great restaurants along the Quays....but they can be expensive. If you want something less expensive can walk down the river towards Clark Quay to Liang Mall for less expensive meals.

Very long check-in Q, waiting for 20mins

Staff do not have service minded and just do their job. Hotel is located near few restaurants and cafés but not accessible to mrt about 15 min walk and with very limited car park .the room is clean and style.

Average hotel in a good location

My understanding of a loft studio room would be that the bed would be upstairs with the living room area downstairs. However, the room I was allocated was the reverse. Hence, there was very little space to open a suitcase for packing. Apart from a hanging rail with 3 hangers (all unusable) - there was no where else to hang one's clothes. Maybe the idea of the hotel was for short stays. With travel these days - one needs a weighing scale to weigh one's baggage. My stay was for 3 nights. The staff of the hotel should be commended for being helpful with very basic facilities. I asked for a weighing scale from the first night I was there as I needed to gauge the weight of some luggage passed to me that night - but the front desk staff only managed to find one for me on my last evening there. Staff were helpful with directions etc. However, the location of the hotel is good. It is very close to Chinatown, and in the Robertson Quay area - which is good for having drinks with friends and dining choices. As for value - it is average. Nothing special. If I decide to be in the same locale in the future - I may try the other hotels in the area - of which there are a few.

Great choice of restaurants in the Robertson Quay area. Short walk from Clarke Quay. Quiet hotel - even though near many well known drinking spots. Good location and easy to get around.

Great location but probably not for the over 50s

Interesting boutique hotel with loft apartments. Downstairs a very small sitting area with no TV, but with toilet and shower. Your vanity and hand basin is part of the very small living area. Upstairs via a narrow staircase to the very small sleeping area with a TV. So if you are in bed you can watch tv but if you need the toilet during the night you have to go down the stairs. If you want to watch tv then you have to go upstairs. All very strange design wise. The positives, less than a minute from the Singapore River and a short walk to Clarke Quay and very obliging staff. Probably a younger persons hotel.
