A great stopover in a long journey

I stopped at the hotel for 4 days on route to Australia to give my body clock a chance to adjust before arriving with family. The hotel was fabulous and despite being a single traveller made me feel very welcome (something many don't seem to know how to do). The staff were as polite and friendly as could be offering advice on where to visits and how to make the most of few days. The room was perfect and the hotel gave a never ending supply of bottled water (many of the hotels seemed to charge a fortune for it and I always drink loads in the heat). I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Speculalar Hotel and area

After visiting this country for the first time, it is my opinion that coming to Singapore should be on everyone's bucket list. Do not expect bargains. But the expense is more than returned with excellent quality. The shear wealth and beauty of the area is unsurpassed. Having visited several hotels durning my visit including the Mandarin Orientlal, It is my opinion that the Pan Pacific Singapore is very competitive -- if not better in several areas including its stunning architectural design and amenities. I highly recommend this hotel.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

While staying at the Pan Pacific, a visit to the observation deck of Marina Bay Sands complex is imperative. The views of the wealth and beauty are magnificent. The Entire MBS complex is a major attraction in itself.

Great Layover hotel

Stayed for two nights on a layover, excellent hotel highly recommended, room spotless and staff friendly and knowledgeable, hotel close to the Makansutra Glutton's Bay, well worth a visit 6pm till late. Hotel a joins a mall which goes straight into Metro so you can avoid the heat/rain. Ritz Carlton very close for Sunday Brunch a must followed by some reflexology. Go to Din Tai Fung at raffles mall. Marina Bay Sands right opposite which is worth a daytime trip to the roof bar but night time gets expensive. Funan IT mall 5-10 min taxi is the best place for electronics but even so only buy what you have researched the price on this is not England and they do not have a John Lewis returns policy if you buy the wrong item/pay too much/ are miss old/ buy grey market or some unknown OEM product you have never heard of but the salesman says is the best thing since sliced bread :-)
