Great boutique hotel
The staff are warm and welcoming, only too happy to help. The rooms are comfortable, particularly the bed. Only downside, they are small, sightly difficult with 2 suitcases. The hotel is situated in an area with good, reasonably priced eating places frequented by locals. It is not far too walk to the bus stop catering for the hop-on-and -off tourist buses, Clakres Quay and China Town. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was nice. As for the F&B and other facility, it was not up to the mark especially when the rooms (via internet booking) cost over $200. I would recommend it to friends if the price was much lower.

Charm and courtousy
I would warmly recommend this characterful little hotel to other travellers. I was charmed by lots of lovely little details, such as the bowl of apples on the way to my room. The hotel went out of its way to accommodate me, allowing me to check in at 9 am when my plane arrived early, and organising first-class Singapore tours for me.
