InterContinental Singapore is the only world-class hotel in Singapore to preserve the shophouse-style artistry of the Peranakan people, who descended from the Chinese traders and local Malay women from as early as the 17th century. The hotel itself is a testament to old Singapore, featuring intricate mirrors, batu ribbons and louvred windows along the corridors. Intercontinental Singapore also boasts stunning guest rooms and suites, an on-site spa, outdoor swimming pool and rooftop garden.
InterContinental Singapore boasts many stylish, ornate rooms and guests can choose from six different types of rooms or suites, starting with the Deluxe Rooms. Designed for the cosmopolitan guest, Deluxe Rooms feature lacquer cupboards, valance windows, oriental lamps, old-style bathroom mirror and paintings and are enhanced with modern amenities for comfort and convenience.
At the top of the luxury scale is the Presidential Suite, which features a large, comfortable living room, walk-in closet, dining room, fully equipped kitchenette, separate Jacuzzi and shower and even 24-hour butler service.
InterContinental Hotel Singapore is designed to make travelers feel as though they're in a city of luxury unto itself. The hotel accomplishes that with the help of five on-site bars and restaurants. Options range from the authentic and innovative Cantonese dishes of Man Fu Yuan to the Victoria Bar, which features a dazzling array of local and international beers (the bartender recommends the Ramee Blonde premium beer).
Shopping-minded guests venture to the Bugis Junction shopping complex, Singapore's first glass-covered, air-conditioned shopping street.

Review of InterContinental SINGAPORE

Wonderful week at the InterContinental
We had a wonderful stay. The Hotel is ideal in all respects, especially after we upgraded to include inernet use and access to their CLUB LOUNGE for breakfast, tea & pasteries and evening snacks.
I'm not sure why using Orbitz to book our stay
caused us to pay an additional 10% for a "booking fee," but even with this extra, all was wonderful for myself, wife and 22 year-old daughter.
Thank you for the great trip!!! Gary Andersn
