Luxury Singapore hotel with exclusive suites and amenities
InterContinental Singapore is the only world-class hotel in Singapore to preserve the shophouse-style artistry of the Peranakan people, who descended from the Chinese traders and local Malay women from as early as the 17th century. The hotel itself is a testament to old Singapore, featuring intricate mirrors, batu ribbons and louvred windows along the corridors. Intercontinental Singapore also boasts stunning guest rooms and suites, an on-site spa, outdoor swimming pool and rooftop garden.
Highlights
  • Personalized butler service
  • Five restaurants and bars on site
  • Located next to an indoor shopping street
  • Customized workouts from on-site fitness trainers
Rooms
InterContinental Singapore boasts many stylish, ornate rooms and guests can choose from six different types of rooms or suites, starting with the Deluxe Rooms. Designed for the cosmopolitan guest, Deluxe Rooms feature lacquer cupboards, valance windows, oriental lamps, old-style bathroom mirror and paintings and are enhanced with modern amenities for comfort and convenience.

At the top of the luxury scale is the Presidential Suite, which features a large, comfortable living room, walk-in closet, dining room, fully equipped kitchenette, separate Jacuzzi and shower and even 24-hour butler service.
Property features
InterContinental Hotel Singapore is designed to make travelers feel as though they're in a city of luxury unto itself. The hotel accomplishes that with the help of five on-site bars and restaurants. Options range from the authentic and innovative Cantonese dishes of Man Fu Yuan to the Victoria Bar, which features a dazzling array of local and international beers (the bartender recommends the Ramee Blonde premium beer).

Shopping-minded guests venture to the Bugis Junction shopping complex, Singapore's first glass-covered, air-conditioned shopping street.

Recreation
For relaxation after a long day, InterContinental Hotel Singapore also boasts an outdoor pool, on-site spa and fitness center and a lush rooftop garden.

Incredible option in Singapore!

The hotel staff was exceptional, always ready to go the extra mile for any guest. The hotel is very close to the main tourist attractions (the Gardens by the Bay, the Flyer) and on the tour bus route, so moving around Singapore was a breeze. The breakfast was splendid, and you have to try the Kaya jam, made if coconut milk - a hit! I loved the trip, and staying in The Intercontinental was a big part of the enjoyment.

Everything about the intercontinental in Singapore is expceptional. The hotel is only a stone throw away from the Rafles, food courtyards and shopping centres. The rooms are very well equipped with all possible connectivity, including free wifi and the staff is just superb. Will go back.

Short Business visit.

Couldn't fault the hotel in any way. The room was excellent, very comfortable and good for work too. Wifi worked well and no charge. The executive club was a bonus and the staff here were first class. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great hotel

The hotel was fantastic. The room was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has several great restaurants in it and is also located in an area that has a ton more restaurants that cater to any taste. Internet connection was quite speedy. There was even a 'pillow menu'. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Singapore.

Singapore is great

Intercontinental is a great hotel to stay, central location and connected to Bugis Shopping Center. The MRT is located just a short distance from the hotel. There is a food court for americanized foods or if you want some of the more traditional foods Clark Quay and Boat Quay are a short taxi ride away. Make sure try the Pepper Crab or Chile Crab. Singapore favorites and a Singapore Sling Chimes is a great location to watch an important football match (american or european) Chimes is an old convent converted into shopping center with great restaurants, bars and night clubs. The MRT is great way to escape the heat and get to your destination. best to go after the morning rush / lunch rush / and evening home from work schedules. Air conditioned and underground so its nice and cool for those not used to the humidity and heat.

good location for the price

excellent hotel in a nice location, staff was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions, I had a very good time in singapore till the morning when I checked out, call the front desk to send someone up to carry my lugguage down, waited for almost 20 minutes, still no one, called again, finally said they will check to see, called back in about 10 mins and said someone will be coming up,when he showed up I asked were they busy, he said no, obviouly someone is not doing a good job on passing the message, had it not be this incident, I would give the staff 5 star, time is very important for someone who has to check out to go to the airport on time.

First class Staff

The hotel is located in a very busy, but also very convenient, location..sort of one stop shopping. A multitude of local restaurants are located in the vicinity, but be very very aware of the traffic. It is horrendous, as are the crowds in general. The Bugis Junction Mall is outside the hotel's doors and is a very popular shopping place for Singaporeans. You want it, they've got it somewhere in that mall. Again, the crowds are overwhelming, especially on Saturday. If you have time and a Singaporean acquaintance, go to Sentosa park. It is sort of the Disney Park of Singapore. The cable car ride was great, the Sounds of the Sea a spectacular laser show...but be prepared to get wet, as the lasers are projected onto water spraying into the air and when the wind shifts... The hotel's renovation is still continuing and this tends to make for a very noisy stay. There were an almost continuing series of drilling, sawing and clunking noises as the door locks, plumbing and ?? were changed. But to the hotels great credit, the staff was superb, eager to please and some of the most helpful that I have encountered in all my travels. I wish every hotel had that staff!
