Good value family holiday location
The hotel is looking a little tired and in need of refurbishment, whilst there was no major fault, the elevators worked, plumbing was okay, television was fine it just had an old feel about everything. Previous correspondents have commented on the reception, it was fine with booking in and out and attention to queries prompt and efficient, the breakfast buffet was good with a wide choice although the restaurant in the same room in the evening offered a limited quantity of below average food with very little western food, so visiting families with children take note. There is a good size outdoor pool which is a plus, although in the 4 days we were there, and the kids used the pool, I never saw it cleaned

Avoid dining in this hotel, the food quality is poor, take a right out of reception a short walk, 2 or 3 minutes takes you to the Novena shopping area with a good selection of decent restaurants

large Clean rooms, furnature might
large Clean rooms, furnature might be a bit dated, but it is in good repair clean and functional, in fact better then some modern furnature as its solid and funcutinal, location close to novena MRT, one stop from Newton cirus food courts, bus stop outside door, Staff very friendly and helpfull. I,LL BE BACK

We have been to Hotel Royal Singapore
We have been to Hotel Royal Singapore for a few times. So it is a reasonable hotel within walking distance to MRT. Also a good shopping mall is nearby.

I booked a family room and was
I booked a family room and was very spacious. Cleanliness and service was above average. However the swimming pool was not clean in the afternoon as there were leaves in the water. Also there is no attendant for the towels. As regards the location, it is a bit out of the main attractions but connected by MRT and buses.Our stay was a pleasant one. Would recommend this hotel for both business or holidays.

The tube in the bathroom was leaking
The tube in the bathroom was leaking after a quick shower, as a result the water leak into the doorway and flooded half of the bathroom floor. Thank god we were there only a night.
