Average 3 Star hotel

Postive: Great location - Great friendly front desk staff, heart of Chinatown and across the street from MRT. Negative: Internet should be free of charge like most hotel. Very limited English TV channel and all re-run.

Great location

I stayed on the executive floor for 2 nights. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed, great shower and a spectacular view. The best thing about the hotel for me was its location, within an easy walk to all the malls, dining and nightspots you could hope for. Special mention to Liza T from the executive lounge for making me feel so welcome.

Excellent location but be aware

I usually have WIFI included in room rate and I thought that $25/night for WIFI was a bit rude. Our room did not have double glazed windows so traffic noise at times was a problem. Lighting over basin was bad for grooming or applying makeup. Very clean and good beds. Excellently located to Chinatown, Clarke Quay, shopping, eateries and MRT.

Nice & Comfortable hotel

Booked one night and liked it well enough that I booked 4 more nights. A very nice view from my 14th floor room. A grocery store is located in bottom floor across the main street from hotel. MRT (subway) is 5 min walk and bus stop is at hotel. A great hotel & location.

Peoples Center is just adjacent to hotel and at the bottom floor are many food stalls. My family ate there everyday and good food can be had for SG$3-6 a meal.

Good Not Great!!

The Hotel is well located, and the rooms are fine.. but the hotel itself seems a little old, not dusty or dirty just bit old.. the pool located in the 6th floor.. not really nice the lobby area its nice, for the price its a good deal, because of the location who is walking distance to the river and other places, the Hop on Hop off bus stop almost right outside the hotel so thats a plus!!

Nice value though old property

Though the property is much older and could use a renovation, the rooms are good in size, bathrooms are decent, room is clean and you get the value for what you pay. The location is really convenient and the wifi in room and throughout hotel works well. The bed and bedding could be more comfortable and luxurious but otherwise, I'd stay there again on a business trip with a budget.
