A pearl in Singpore

Our stay at the Farimont could not have been any better from the moment we checked in to the moment we left for the airport three days later. The entire staff were gracious and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and the facilities were excellent.Above all the location could not be any better with its proximity to the downtown malls and the MRT. We would highly recommend the Fairmont to anyone traveling to Singapore.

3-night stay in Fairmont Singapore

The hotel's location is great. It is connected to the Raffles City mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining purposes. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly, although there were times when they would come to our door out of the blue and ask if we needed anything -- this was appreciated but unnecessary. My only complaint is the surcharge for an Internet connection in the room. There is free WiFi in the lobby, however.

In need of some work...

the location is okay--but, many of the rooms haven't been updated and those rooms have very uncomfortable beds. I complained that the rooms and decor of the first assigned room I received didn't match the advertising, I told them I would need to leave for a bed that was comfortable, they got me into a refreshed room and delivered fruit, truffles, and wine as an apology. Their service is slow--mostly felt as colleagues and associates called to reach me and they got a message that the "communication center" was closed, they were put on hold for many minutes before being connected to my room. I will not stay here again.
