Great vacation

All of the staff were wonderful. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The food and drinks were great- lots to choose from and all delicious. Lots of excursions to choose from and definitely worth doing. Not a lot of activities- although I think that is because we visited right when they reopened and maybe didn't have enough guests that signed up for the activities. It was also nice to have a separate adult section of the hotel.

GREAT for families

Water park was a big hit, family slide and adult speed slide along with lazy river, pools were gorgeous and pristine. Mosquitos are a draw back, but staff fogs each day to try to combat, as well as the beach seaweed cleanup, can't ask for more. Food was decent, but only Calabash restaurant was a step above. Room was clean, some renovations needed (chipped furniture, etc, but all minor). Staff was great, evening shows were well done and staff was super friendly. 10 minutes from UVF airport, and excursion to Soufriere was worth it. Suggest including paddle board/snorkling in hotel pricing since it's all inclusive. Spa is also a nice spot, but just short of US style spa treatment (only did nails, unsure on massage/body treatments)

BEAUTIFUL place

My husband and I went for our first wedding anniversary. First I want to start with the staff! Everyone that we came in contact with was absolutely amazing! EVERYONE was so friendly and wanted to do anything to help you! They were always smiling, singing, and dancing! They made the experience truly unforgettable! You must go see Mitch at the adult bar! :-) The hotel was beautiful and well kept! We stayed on the harmony (adult only) side. I will say it was a comfortable stay but the rooms were a little out dated. I did hear though that they are starting to make a lot of renovations. The rest of the hotel was beautiful and newly renovated. The adult only pool was small and didn't have much going on most of the time(which I heard was changing in the renovations). We mostly stayed on the splash side because they have a swim up bar. It was very cute because at the swim up bar they did have an "adult only" side with great cocktails. They also had a "kids only" side where they could swim up to the bar and get non alcoholic cocktails. All the kids that where there seemed to love that! The beaches were beautiful and clean. We did not spend to much time on the beach because the days we had to just relax it was raining :-/ They did have a lot of great activities: Snorkeling, kayaking, volleyball, etc. As for the adventures we did the snorkel and sail and the tree top zip lining. I cannot believe the experience we had for such a cheap price. They were both absolutely incredible. The catamaran we sailed on to go snorkeling was beautiful and well kept. The crew was GREAT and very friendly. Sailing along the island with breath taking views. The snorkeling was in great spots where we felt very safe! The zip lining was another incredible experience! The drive over there wasn't to long and you got to see some pretty cool local things on the way! The instructors were great and made everyone have a great time! For both the adventures we did we could not believe how inexpensive they were for the incredible experience we had. If we did those thing in California (where we live) we wouldn't have had half of the experience and we would have paid triple the price. St Lucia is truly a beautiful place with beautiful people. Everyone is so happy all of the time and they are so thankful so everything they have. From the hotel staff to our drivers everyone was so friendly and happy all the time! I cant wait until we are able to go back!

A Beautiful Resort

My husband and I went with another couple who are good friends of ours. We met other couples during our stay while enjoying the adults only pool area. This section was perfect for relaxation and good conversation without little kids running around. The resort plans to expand the adult section and add supplemental rooms with private pools by 2015. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like. The resort also has very good restaurants with a good food selection. Would definitely consider going back! Overall, a great place for couples and families alike.

Couples getaway

Stayed at Coconut Bay Resort and had a wonderful experience! The hotel had a family side and a separate couples only side, so it's perfect for families and couples alike. The couples only side was nice, quiet, and relaxing! We enjoyed it very much.

If your planning to take excursions you can book them directly through the resort which we found very convenient. I would recommend booking your excursions upon arrival, as some excursions are only available on certain days and some book very quickly.

Nice Vacation

Coconut Bay is a nice resort with good emenities. Our stay was pleasurable and all of the accommodations were satisfactory. Having said that, nothing really wowed us on our 10th anniversary. We are not a couple that travels often but have been to various resorts in the Carribean. This resort is 5 minutes from the airport so no long drives after the flight. The resort is on the south and the only one on this side which is the Atlantic beach. The beach is not as clean and prestine as it is on the Carribean side. The resort did have a nice touch of separating itself into 2 sides. A family friendly side with a water slide park, paint ball and other family fun and an adult side with a more quiet, hammock filled, and other lounging cozy romantic areas including a wonderful spa. If you are looking for an inexpensive getaway, that's clean and nothing spectacular, Coconut Bay is your choice.

Very nice family resort

After being delayed 8 hours it was nice to get to the resort that is only 5 minutes from the airport. The staff was very accommodating. Buffet had a nice variety of food throughout the week. Hard to beat the bartenders, Wade, Kate, Stephanie and Dylan especially. Restaurant dining was also good. Water park area was a very nice bonus. We had a good time, I just wish we didn't miss almost a whole day due to weather.
