The Landings St. Lucia

It's hard to go wrong when you are greeted with complimentary rum punches upon your arrival! We had originally booked a 1br/1bth and were upgraded to a 2br/2.5 bath with washer and dryer. The room was gorgeous, very clean and spacious, not to mention how nice it was to have a dining table on the patio in addition to the one inside!! To our surprise the hotel was VERY quiet, not very many kids, which made relaxing on the beautiful strip of beach very easy. Overall, great staff, beautiful hotel and location!! I highly recommend doing the hike on Pigeon Island just a short walk away. Beautiful views and private little beaches.

The rooms were spectacular, very spacious with lots of outside decks/porches, up to date appliances in the kitchen etc.Good view, pleasant atmosphere, very clean, responsive mangement to any issues. The beach restauran had surprsingly good food for a casual restaurant and pretty good choices. The free breakfast was ok--not knock-your-socks-off, but perfectly fine. Fresh omelets The staff was extremely friendly everywhere. Restaurant service could have been a little quicker, but it is the Caribbean. Drink service on the beach was good. Lots of chairs on the beach. Pools never too crowded. BUT the beach does not have waves if you are looking for wave action and it is full of boats so the horizon is not open water. Concierge helps with activities--scuba, ATV, snorkeling, etc. Overall, very enjoyable vacation. Some snags and confusion in booking the excursions, but everything got worked out and done with a smile. Really, the very nicest people here, so even when a slight bump in the road, they work so hard to fix it, you don't mind at all.

This is a beautiful hotel located on a stunning beach. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Not much in the way of pools, if that is what you are looking for. The suite was beautiful and well-equipped. The Landings is close to Rodney Bay, so you do not have to drive too far for restaurants or shops. It was, however, a 2 hour ride from the airport! (The only negative side to the location). Do not bother renting a car,as you will not want to drive around this island.

This hotel is located on an enclosed bay, making it perfect for families with small children. There are almost no waves and the water is beautiful and clear. The hotel offers free kayaks and snorkel gear for those interested. We didn't bring many sand toys but the hotel loaned some to our 2 yr old at no charge. Overall, the staff was very friendly and the rooms great.

We needed one night at a hotel before heading home after three weeks on a sailboat. Booked the Landings because we were with another couple and we could share a two bedroom suite. Lovely place! Beautiful, roomy accommodations with full kitchen, washer/drier, and a hot tub on the large balcony. While we didn't experience it for long, I can imagine this place would be super for families or for couples traveling together. I want to add that we love the island of St Lucia; it's a gorgeous island with much to offer.

The Landings is without a doubt the best place to stay in St. Lucia. Perfect location, fabulous facilities, great staff. The rooms are actually condos beautifully decorated and very spacious. The grounds are exquisite and well maintained. The front lobby is stunning. The staff is very attentive and concerned with your being happy. Hard to tear yourself away from the beach the view is so perfect.

Fantastic accomodations. The villas are superb. The beach is very good for St Lucia, which has less than great beaches overall. The service was outstanding. The main restaurant (Palms) was closed for the season. The Beach Club restaurant is nice, but not the high end food/wine experience this resort will want in the long run.

These are million dollar five star condos that owners put into the rental pool. You can't find accomodations like this in a hotel. The luxury and service that you get in a place like this is beyond anything that the typical all-inclusive chain hotels could possibly offer. Personal service, incredible views on the ocean, and away from the crowds. It's a vacation that some people dream about.

We relaxed and were taken very good care of by the hotel staff. The beach and scenery were beautiful and the food was excellent.

We attended our daughter's wedding on the island. Our stay at The Landings was a vacation to remember. The rooms were beautiful, the grounds immaculate and the staff extremely accommodating. The beach at this hotel is beautiful and has an amazing view. I would liked to have had another restaurant available at the resort. There is really only one open at the present time. The hotel is new and currently still under construction. The construction, however, did not interfere with our stay. It was not at all intrusive and there was really no noise to be heard from the construction. Motorized water sports were not included; however, the consigner was very helpful with arranging trips with outside vendors. We had a great time and a vacation to remember!
