A good experience
The rooms were very nice, and great that there was an option for air conditioning. We loved the hammocks on the front porch, and felt we had privacy even when outdoors. The staff was very friendly, however if anything was ever needed after 10 at night....it was unlikely that this would happen. If anything needed before 10 at night...it took much longer than it should have. It was a long trek to get to the other major parts of the island, but this was the second best beach to be at - so it's great to just enjoy the day here! However, if you are looking to explore the island - be prepared for at least an hour car ride...or an expensive water taxi

Honeymoon in Paradise
Our stay at Ti Kaye was everything we could have hoped for. I was on my honeymoon so we were looking for something intimate (not sandals). Ti Kaye was just that. The villa and view was awesome and the beach was even better. We snorkaled and relaxed on the beach for the larger portion of the days. The only negative I would say about Ti Kaye is that the village is very remote. If you have any ambition of going out to see the island of St. Lucia this is not the place. Your about an hours drive to the 1st decent town.

Excellent Choice
This hotel is one of St. Lucia's golden treasures. I loved the design of the resort, the fact that it had its own beach and reef which was quite popular with other tourists on marine tours, an outdoor shower to gaze at the stars while bathing, food that tickled my taste buds and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The 5 days spent here were well worth it and I'm excited to return. You may spend all your time on the resort (at the spa, pool, beach, your porch, your bed) or you may book tours from the hotel (I highly recommend the west coast catamaran sail and the aerial tram and zipline tours through the rainforest) . For the overly adventurous who like to explore as much of the island as possible, I recommend renting a vehicle. Getting around the island is pretty easy and the people are quite friendly. If you are coming from Hewanara Airport, please be prepared for a 90 minute drive to the hotel. And just in case you do not receive your daily toiletries, feel free to alert the front desk. The issue will be rectified immediately. The staff really take care of you while you stay at Ti Kaye. Book your stay NOW and enjoy a slice of paradise!!!

Wonderful getaway for a couple!
The resort was beautiful & the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was great, the beach was unbelievable with gorgeous water & good snorkeling available. The locals were around to sell a variety of things if interested, but would leave you alone if you preferred. We took a water taxi down to Soufrierre, which showed us this beautiful island from the water view - breathtaking!

A dream come true!
I don't even know where to begin...my husband and I had the most romantic, relaxing time at Ti Kaye. We were considering staying down at the Ladera or Stonefield villas given that stunning location of both, but after spending four nights at Ti Kaye and taking a trip down to see the others, we are SO glad we chose Ti Kaye. First of all, Ti Kaye is set on a beautiful section of coastline and is far removed from the crowded north (we stayed at Windjammer the first three nights which was great, but is in a more action-packed area) and really feels like a unique ecolodge. There is beautiful landscaping that is in keeping with the natural elements of where it is situated and the buildings are all very tasteful and simple. I would describe it as "rustic luxury." We had to laugh that the many stairs to the beach that everyone comments on, were really not bad at all. We are used to walking up several flights of subway stairs, but still it is really not an inconvenience at all. We were never harrassed by the men selling goods at the beach either, as other note. In fact, i told each of them that I was there through Saturday and please come back at the end of the week and I would take a look at what they had to sell. They won't bother you at all if you are respectful. The food was really great too. We both commented that the hotel could have really gouged us on the price of food given how far away it is from any other options, but it was both tasty and reasonable ($15 for breakfast per person for a FULL buffet; $11-$18 per person for a lunch entree down at the beach and this includes fries and salad and dinner was about $20-$35 an entree and $5-$8 for dessert). We did not do the all inclusive because we try not to overeat so most mornings we made instant oatmeal in the room (they provide milk and delicious coffee and a water kettle) and had fruit and just had lunch and dinner. If you get an appetizer to split and two entrees, you will have more than enough food. Dinner is from 7-9pm. The drinks are also very reasonable. We were surprised to see many bottles of wine at the $20-$30 range. Now, I should say that we live in Manhattan so perhaps our sense of reasonable is a bit skewed.... The beach chairs are very comfortable (much better than the un-padded chairs at Windjammer that don't go flat) and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. The snorkeling is also FANTASTIC. we were sad to have only done this the last day after realizing how great it was. We rented a car for the week and were very glad that we did. It gave us the flexibility to explore the island on our own and not pay for excursions which start at $55 a person for sailing and can climb to $200 per person for more elaborate trips. All in all, this is one of the best values we have experienced in the Caribbean. The location is enchanting and the staff are all so great. Lastly, the absolute highlight of our entire week in St. Lucia was the Wednesday night festivities which included: manager's cocktail reception with great free apps and drinks, a delicious Caribbean buffet followed by live music. Some of the staff joined the dancing which made it feel like the whole place was one big happy family. SO FUN

Honeymoon
After days of searching for a honeymoon location i came across this gem. We booked this through for our flight and hotel. This hotel offers all inclusive options based on day to day, just visit their website, but we found that we couldnt exceed the cost of it. Upon arrival we were checked in by the security since our flight landed at midnight. They gave a quick run down on the room and let us be for the evening which was perfect. all the food was amazing. One of the days we took a fishing trip. we caught a yellow fin tuna and a Mai Mai. The instructor and captain were reluctant to let us take the fish but they are supposed to if you request. Brought back part of the mai mai and the whole tuna. The chef prepared them for us for dinner which was nothing short of amazing. The only thing that i consider to be not good was the bed. I know everyone will have their likes and dislikes but this bed was just not comfortable, it did not give support well, i am used to my tempurpedic. the hotel staff was more than happy to do everything to make us happy and welcome everyday. Book it and enjoy it.

The best holiday ever!
My partner and I have just returned from Ti Kaye where we went to celebrate my 50th birthday. This is a couples hotel, most couples were young honeymooners or there to get married. The fewer older visitors were there celebrating silver weddings. However, don't get me wrong, its not just for the youngsters, and we didn't feel out of place. The staff were just fantastic, from the welcome to the day we left. They all made an effort to get to know our names, and we got big hugs from all on our last day. Go for a cottage with a pool, it is well worth the extra. They are very well screened and not overlooked by any other cottage. We hardly felt the need to move from our cottage and felt no obligation to even wear costumes.

Beware the taxi drivers at the Airport, it is a long drive (1.5 hours approx) and they wanted to charge $100 US. We got the hotel to take us back, much cheaper and we got a guided tour from the driver
