This place might not be bad if you sat away from the Kreole rooms

We booked 5 nights in a Kreole standard room as part of the package. It seemed like a great deal, but it was anything but. After 4 phone calls, and some serious pleading, we were finally moved to a different room. There are a couple of bars down the street from the hotel that blare music until 5 a.m. It is so loud it is like you are sleeping (or should I say not sleeping) under the stage. After 2 nights of no sleep I was ready to loose my mind, and we did get moved upstairs in the back and it was tolerable. The water is an issue in this part of the hotel. If you want to take an at least warm shower you have to let the water run for 20 minutes. This is incredible wasteful, so we took cold showers for a week. I will say the staff at this hotel is amazing. They are incredible friendly and helpful. The concierge was helpful booking tours, and the parking was free for the rental. If you book here, please spend the extra money and stay in the main part of the hotel.

Coco Palm is my favorite hotel in Saint Lucia

I've stayed there 5 times. Nice rooms, Pool, Restaurant, Friendly staff, Free local breakfast included! Saltfish and Bakes Whaaat!? As an American/Saint Lucian I always recommend Coco Palm to all of my friends. Reasonably priced rooms and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, atm, bank, shopping, supermarket, bars. Don't forget to pick up a complementary beach towel from the front desk. My only issues this trip was that the WiFi in the room was spotty and unreliable. Coco palm used to have the best Wifi signals in their rooms. Also, someone please instruct the wait staff that guests near the bar would like to be asked if they need anything at regular intervals. Please don't make guests have to walk over to the bar to order drinks. Especially at the pool! Lucian don't you want a tip? :)P

The Supermarket is around the corner. Try the local restaurants. Use the Bank or ATM for cash. People are very friendly, but be smart.

Good venue - but a word of warning/advice!!

The hotel has a very central location, close to restaurants, shops etc at Rodney Bay. The Creole rooms are however just across the road from a nightclub and a number of other very late opening bars and restaurants. The noise levels can therefore be more than a little unacceptable - recommendation is to book rooms in the main complex as the extra cost is well worth it.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Plenty of restaurants at Rodney Bay in the relatively near vicinity to Coco Palm. 'La Terrasse' (french owner# is the nearest #4mins walk#, with 'The Cockpit', 'The Edge' and 'The Steakhouse' #all with the same Scandinavian owner# about 10mins walk #opposite entrance to 'The Royal St Lucian Hotel#.

great room close to the beach

We stayed at Creole room which was fine. It was clean, was ACed, We had a full breakfast which was ok, great selection. The pool in the hotel was ok. The only minus is the distance to the beach. You need to walk a bit and go through other hotels to get to Reduit Beach. There is also a car park. Hotel is close to shopping malls.

Wonderful!

The staff at Coco Palm were all very kind and accommodating and addressed all issues that arose in a timely manner. The food at the the hotel restaurant, Koko Palm, was incredible, as was the live band that performed on Friday night. The pool is only 4 feet deep which was not an issue for me. It's perfect for families with kids of all ages as there is a 1 foot deep area. My 3 year old niece frequented it and had a blast. The fitness centre is nothing to rave about and had exactly what you need, minus a treadmill. This was my first time staying here but my mother and cousin have been there numerous times before and this is their number one spot to stay at while in St. Lucia. I would definitely recommend Coco Palm to anyone visting St. Lucia. It's location in Rodney Bay is ideal, close to the beach, mall, supermarkets and numerous restaurants.

Check out the waterfalls at Jalousie in Soufriere! It's well worth the long trip and much more private than the Diamond Waterfalls. May family and I had the place to ourselves and were able to bathe in the mineral waters.
