Avoid this Hotel
Traveled in February - room did not have enough blankets and was poorly heated, mattresses were in horible condition. Ended up sleeping in my clothes to stay warm enough. Breakfast was included (cow tongue the first day, mystery bologna the second - but no food poisoning!!) The location isn't bad. [...]

Everything related to Stalingrad (which is why people come to Volgograd) is accessible via the metro or trolly buses. Print a map of the Volgograd public transport system and you'll save a lot of money and avoid gouging taxi drivers.
