Sky Hotel offers an excellent combination of value-for-money accommodation right in the heart of the city centre with friendly service and impeccable cleanliness. The hotel is located in a traditional style grey stone building. Sky hotel enjoys an excellent location in the very heart of historical St.Petersburg on a side street just metres from Nevsky Prospekt. The major sightseeing attractions, such as the Hermitage, Russian Museum, Bronze Horseman and the Peter and Paul Fortress are within walking distance. The hotel has convenient access to public transport , Nevsky Prospekt metro station, offering quick and cheap access to the whole city, is just a few hundred metres away

Sky hotel rooms although slightly small in size are designed in a clean, contemporary style to offer comfortable accommodation. As the hotel has only recently opened all rooms are in a good condition. Each room is equipped with tv, wi-fi internet access Rooms are accessed with an electronic card system.

Hidden Gem

Once found, this turned out to be a great hotel. It's located on the 6th and 7th floors of a typical Russian building, entered through an iron gate into a dismal courtyard then up stairs and elevator. Especially great for single travelers. Very centrally located. Reasonably clean, comfortable, breakfast included (down the street at another of their facilities). Needs better descriptions of the rooms/beds/baths available.
