Nice location
This hotel is good enough for a night sleep and has an excellent central location, quite near to a subway station. The breakfast was normal. The main problem there was some noise - from room to room and from outside as well, especially because the street in front of the building is being renovated and they were working even on weekends. But if you got good nerves then you will get quite a good deal.

I would recommend Nevsky Hotel Grand St. Petersburg to all visitors. Perfect location, nice rooms, good service, big breakfast for super price. Next time in St. Petersburg, Im definitly going to stay here.

Adventure Seekers
Bait and Switch!
Small, cramped, dinky. Yikes, talk about bait and switch. The pictures on the site show rooms with a couch, etc. The actual room we got barely held the queen bed. It was up against 3 of the walls and there was about 18 inches of space on the other side to move around in. There was no place to be in the room to relax between adventures out into the city. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly refurbished. If you are an average, to large size person don't plan on using the shower. Some of the hotel staff were nice, but none of them knew much about the area and could not help us with directions, etc. The location is perfect, but the room itself was very disappointing.
