Hotel was opened at the end of April 2003 not long before the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Saint Petersburg. I stayed in a standard room - small and ordinary. No chance of working unless you like using your laptop in bed. Noisy too - you can hear everything from the corridor. But the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was clean. The location is
quiet, but not so good for tourism - the metro station is about 15 minutes walk away - too far for those with luggage but near enough otherwise. So fine for a cheaper St Pete stay, but don't expect anything except nice staff
