Hotel is well placed above a shopping centre and supermarket and next door to a metro station. Breakfasts were ample and plentiful and there were lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. In particular, when I mentioned that it was my wife's
65th birthday, we found a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the room that evening!
The only drawback for me was that the health centre and sauna were out of action for the duration of our stay.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Nevsky Prospect - St Petersburg main street was only a short walk away.
We arrived at 10:00 pm. It was 95 degrees in St Petersburg. We asked if the hotel had AC and were told yes. Upon checking in the room we found they had AC however, it did not work and had not worked for the past three days. The hotel lobby staff
were rude. Dirty ash trays littered the lobby. The hotel was dirty and felt like I was in the ghetto.
