Great location
Eva Oct 4, 2009
Great location, close to the Metro and bus no. 12 that goes along Tverskaya ul. to the Kremlin,Red sq., main theaters. The ... room was big, clean, with a coffee maker. Breakfast was very expensive so we went out for breakfast (there are a lot of cafe's on the main street, including Starbacs and a supermarket across the street).

Soup Cafe was a great place. It was on the lower level of a building on a side street a few blocks from the hotel. Excellent, with lots of attractive Russians.

Moscow comfort zone

The staff and concierge were helpful with transportation arrangements and directions around Moscow. Sheraton hotels in Delhi ... and Hong Kong were also helpful and made me feel comfortable as a single traveler.

This is a very high class hotel with caring service and good amenities . The hotel has a good bar and restautant but beware ... the restaurant is expensive and the type that just gets the expense account set .It is very close to the metro and you are able to get up and down Tverskya Avenue very easily and this is the location of most of the good restaurant and bar activity . Remember taxis in Moscow are very expensive ( and i'm a millionaire ) unless again you are an expense accounter .

Moscow Sheraton Palace
Traveller Jul 27, 2009
The hotel was fine in all ways and it's location is perfect, a half hour walk down a major street with lots of restaurants ... and shopping to the Kremlin. But I sometimes found the staff at he concierge desk bit hard to deal with. They helped, but their English was mediocre and they couldn't answer definitely questions about train schedules and other issues they should have known about for sure.

We loved the hotel - it was conveniently located between two metro stations and provided a relaxed, quiet environment in the ... busy city of Moscow.

When in Moscow, impulse buying is a necessity. You can never be certain that you'll be back at that store or even if you do return, that the item you have will still be available. If you want to get an item, make sure you buy it when you can!
