The Moscovsky restaurant offers probably the best Russian cuisine in the city. Dishes are made to old traditional recipes, chef's specialities make it famous among the hotel guests and Moscow gourmands.

great location-across from the Kremlin
International Mom Oct 1, 2009
Utilized the spa and the business center. Breakfast was included in the rate and was more than sufficient, served in a lovely ... dining room which looked out to the entrance of the Kremlin.

It's a five minute walk to street that is open for foot traffic only- with several restaurants to choose from offering many ethnic choices.

Incredible Experience!

Wow! A completely-renovated, historic hotel directly across the street from the Kremlin / Red Square! Lenin, Stalin, ... Churchill, & Obama slept here! This is a premiere hotel -- doormen, concierge, etc. The room was extremely comfortable; the maid service was first-class; the staff was extremely courteous & helpful to us. The free buffet breakfast was fantastic -- and the view of the Kremlin from dining room was classic. All of the great sites in Moscow are within walking distance....and the Orbitz price was super!

Great place; Great Location

This hotel is across the street from Red Square and the Kremlin; its an easy walk to most other central Moscow locations. ... The standard room was small but well-decorated and extremely quiet. All of the desk and other employees I had contact with were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant has great views of the Kremlin towers and nearby domed cathedrals.

Nightmare in the Red Square
Prakash Jun 9, 2008
The hotel has a superb location. The front desk reception agent was downright condescending and rude. The breakfast was ... complimentary and could be in room service as long as it was prior to 7:00 a.m. I had ordered for oatmeal and french fries at 2:00 a.m. in the morning for 850 rubles. The free breakfast allowance was for $1280 rubles. When I checked out at 7:00 a.m. the reception once again refused to count my room service as a complimentary breakfast and instead charged me for it and said the complimentary breakfast was only for the items listed on the menu card and not for oatmeal or french fries eventhoug my bill was 400 rubles less than the allowance for complimenatry breakfast. Go figure this crazy non-customer service orientation. They are stuck in the dark ages.

Literally anything and everything is available on Tveyerskaya Avenue next door to the hotel and the location is awesome right by the Kremlin and the Red Square, GUM department stores, St. Basil's, Bolshoi Theater, etc. Unbeatable location.
