The Cosmos Hotel Moscow is located in the north-east Moscow on one of the city's major streets prospect Mira, in green district, just 20 minutes drive to the centre. Do not stay here...

(unless you enjoy very bad front desk service, smoke-smelling rooms, extremely dated amenities, and a rather unsavory clientele in the lobby and bar).

The staff on recepition specially

The staff on recepition specially Maria was horrible, she was rude and all but blamed us for an error in the hotel booking, left us to sort it and had us up and down the stairs with luggage, we were left with not wanting to stay but too late in the day to change. Resturant staff were kind and smiling, If it was my hotel I would put the rusturant staff on the front desk, their english was better and they had a smile

Stayed for just one night at low

Stayed for just one night at low week-end rate. Missing hair-dryer and iron-glider in a standard room. A bit loud environment at night. A lot of restaurants at lobby level. I recommend to order pizza to room that would be the cheapest solution for late dinner. If you are lucky to have front side rooms at highest floors, you may see nice views of Moscow city. Breakfast is a total mess: too crowdy. However the food at breakfast is satisfactory in general, not excellent. Internet is NOT free.

Great view - Moscow at a value!

I enjoyed my stay here. Great sights and food in the area. Lots of ammenity right at the hotel. Rooms were clean but are old fashioned.

VERY BAD HOTEL

I have only two words for this hotel ? VERY BAD. Hotels? services and management were very poor. We were extremely disappointed, but bad experience is experience too.

Man merkt den Zimmermöbeln an,

Man merkt den Zimmermöbeln an, dass das Hotel schön älter ist. Aber durchaus bewohnbar. Wenn man sich in Moskau nicht auskennt, hat man im Cosmos eine gute Auswahl an Restaurants und Kneipen. Auf einigen Etagen gibt es zwar Wifi, aber das ist mit 145 Rubeln pro 30 Minuten sehr teuer.
