The best location and best hotel in Bucharest. This is a city that is still very rough around the edges. Keep your wits about you, and when you want to return to the safe comfort of a western hotel, this is one of very few choices and certainly
the best. Excellent, professional, and personable staff.
Rooms were a good standard. Excellent access to professional gym with great equipment, pool, and beautiful hot tub for the winter. The food is good, the bar has a nice ambiance, and the little Italian cafe has great food and is hospitable for any
event wether an individual, romantic, or business meal. Friendly staff and centrally located.
Excellent location, new and well appointed but overpriced and with bellow average service
Location can't be better, hotel is new and well appointed, service is below average (it takes more that ten minutes to have a call answered, reception desk is slow and not too informed (they had problems getting the details of my reservation) and
room cleaning good but I had to call them to have my room done (after a whole day with the room empty!). In addition hotel claimed my booking did not include breakfast (in Europe it usually is included) although this was not neither mentioned nor implied at booking (and asked approx. $30 for breakfast). The are has several other hotels with a better value.
good hotel, somewhat overpriced and unclear about what the booking includes
I booked the hotel through a deal offered at flight booking. At a price of around $175 per room per night I got a standard room supposedly discounted by 10%. Ariving at the hotel the personnel was not clear about what dates the booking was made
for (i arrived at a late night flight - almost morning) and claimed the booking did not include breakfast (hard to belive at the price). At the end of the first day the room was not cleaned - and I had to ask for it.
The rooms are nice and clean (when done) and the location is great. I am not sure this would be my first choice next time as the neighborhood has several good hotels at competitive prices.
Considered the best hotel in Bucharest. Extremely comfortable beds, simple to use WiFi, very responsive and helpful staff, excellent location. I would definitely stay there again. On the negative side, the hotel charges 5-star US hotel prices for
dining, e.g. USD$35+tip for a self-serve breakfast buffet, which is a bit much considering the prices outside the hotel. But mainly, -1 star for their difficulty locating my [...] reservation and not realizing I had pre-paid the majority of my fees already which took too much time to sort out.
