The impressive exterior of hotel Capitol paints a somewhat deceiving picture of a hotel needing renovation, but nevertheless has a prime location and is clean and functional.
WS0711 The whole exterior of the hotel has been completely renovated. The white 19th century building looks hugely impressive when lit up at night. Hotel Capitol has a prime location in the centre of Bucharest, situated on one of the busiest streets possessing many shops/bars/cafes and close to all of the historical attractions. Public transport links are plentiful (metro/bus/trolley bus/taxis) and the airport is a 20 min drive.

- Medium in size and in fair condition all rooms are decorated in a pea green / white colours. Rooms are also dated and require renovation. Bathrooms are also in fair condition. Although not luxurious rooms are functional and extremely reminiscent of the communist era.
