great location and price
My first time visiting san juan as a tourist (usually i stay with family in the mountains lol) and this hotel was in the perfect location, 1 1/2 block from the beach and bigger hotels with casinos and clubs so why spend more when you can just walk on over and reap the benefits? my point exactly. plus the hotel was way nicer than i expected, theres a pool, jacuzzi, mini fitness center and the beds were soo comfortable tho we didnt sleep much, the water temperature in the shower was great and the bathroom was very spacious. 10 min $10 cab ride to and from airport, 20 min and $20 cab ride to old san juan. Oh yeah and anyone reading this must eat at dragonfly, the food was the best i tasted in my life, seriously, order the lomein with chicken chunks, and some kinda steak peices with these really thin fries, sounds bad but it was oh so good and not heavy at all!!! Also take the tour from the hotel to the tropical rainforest its only $48. hope this was helpful.

Great Hotel for the price
We enjoy our stay at this hotel,The staff was very friendly, helpful, and very professional. The customer service we received was way above our expectations. At checkout time, the clerk noticed that we had been charged extra for parking,we got credit back from the hotel,to us that's been honest with your customers.I recomend this hotel. The only thing we didn't like was the El Yunke and Luquillo beach tour.We purchased a tour from the Tour desk at the hotel, which is totally separate from the hotel,The El Yunke tour was fine, the Luquillo Beach tour, was a rip off,the Beach was nasty, dirty, and we had to pay to use the bathrooms and dressing rooms.

We do not recommend the restaurant called MI CASITA,is a tradidional puerto rican food restaurant. The service was awful and over priced. If you want good puerto rican food the hole's on the wall kind of eatery's are better.Go to old San Juan for good puerto rican food.

Unbeatable for great price loved it
Loved the hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. They have car rental and tourist packages all in the hotel so you can book everything right from the lobby.. Very clean, kid friend as the pool area has a small little waterplayground area. Restaurants inside the hotel were a plus as well. I would recommend it and i would stay there again.

San Juan Trip
Verdanza Hotel and staff provided the best service to my and my friend. As soon as we hit the doors, a staff member was waiting to greet us. I HIGHLY recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy their stay in PR, without any hassles. The location is great (Isla Verde) and the beach is a block away. If and when I return, I WILL definitely stay there again.

My friend and I split every single meal, so we ate for essentially $5 a meal. Granite, we did drink water instead of ordering drinks, but the best spot was Mi Casita. The food was great, and the pricing was right!

Spring Break in San Juan
Amazing, affordable Spring Break hotel
My friends and I planned to go to the Verdanza for Sprig Break without knowing exactly what to expect. I will say the rooms were a bit small and parts of the hotel could have been a bit cleaner, but overall I was amazed at the quality for the price we paid. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful; the location was PERFECT (a quick ride from the airport, two blocks from beautiful Isla Verde beach, walking distance from some of San Juan's best night life and restaurants, and a short cab ride to Condado and Viejo San Juan). The rooftop lounge area was perfect for evening drinks with friends, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. When I return to San Juan, I will definitely staff at the verdanza again!

The hotel staff were great. They were very friendly and helpful as to ideas of what to do in San Juan. The hotel was nice. It's not on the beach but you only need to walk 1 block to get there. The beach is peaceful and clean.

If you are looking for affordable and good Puerto Rican food go to "Mi Casita". The breakfast there was great!! The mofongos (loved the shirmp) were amazing as well. Also, when you go to San juan try "La Bombonera" on San Francisco St. and eat their Mayorcas... AMAZING!!! They were on Discovery Travel and we had to try them. :)

The hotel was slightly off the beaten track and very quiet. The pool area was fabulous, not huge, but clean and beautifully landscaped and very quiet. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and pleasant. I would go back.
