San Juan - great experience
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. I had an incident where a few of my towles (left by housecleaning) were dirty. The hotel apologized and gave me two free continental breakfasts for me and my gf. Other than that, it's a great place, convenient location, and safe.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Go to Rio Grande and take the 25-30 minute hiking walk through "El Yunque", the national rainforest. There's a beautiful waterfall well worth the hike there and back. It's free.

Great room!
Beautiful, clean hotel, great gym, nice decor and ambiance. Room service and in house restaurant expensive, however food was very tasty.

Plaza Las Americas, pretty big mall with wide selection of store2. Also check out the restuarants in Old San Juan, such as El Jibarito for authentic good tasting cuisine (even though the customer service was not the best, the food was worth it.)

Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino
The hotel was lovely and the staff was very accomodating to my requests. The food was great and the views were spectacular. The casino odds were quite positive. I suggest, however that they have periodic shutles to the main hotel areas or Old San Juan. It was indeed a very pleasant stay. I would definitely go back there!

Hotel Stay Overall Experience
I was on a business trip the whole time. Although I was able to go out for dinner and experience the various and delicious typical puertorican cuisine. People are very courteous and pleasant.

Los Platos Restaurant in Isla Verde, San Juan. Great food, reasonable prices, good customer service, no waiting time and live entertainment. Not too many eating options inside the hotel nor from their room service menu.

Sheraton hotel and horrible flight
Hotel stay was great. I was not aware of a $15 daily hotel "service" fee. They gave me a bill for it. I didn't like that. The flight with Delta was horrible. Speacially on the way back home to San Diego, CA. We were left stranded for hours withour any food or water due to a diverted flight.

Hotel Review - Sheraton Hotel and Casino
The hotel did not have a directory of services in each room so one needs to call the desk for the info. They did not have a room service menu either which could have eliminated the inconvenience of calling the desk each time for the above info. Restaurant food is very good but a bit overpriced I think. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Sheraton San Juan Convention Center
This is a very nice one year old upscale hotel adjacent to the convention center. The area around the hotel has undergone aggressive development and is impressive but the location has a somewhat isolated feel for vacationers. We were told that restaurants etc will be coming to the area in the future. Our bay view room was beautiful and there is a niice rooftop infinity pool. The hotel restaurants are good but pricy. Internet was free but the hotel adds a $15 servce/resort fee to the bill.

San Juan Convention Center Sheraton
We had a lot of Metropolitan area activities (Feria, Plaza Las Americas and San Patricio shooping, etc. The hotel is clean and beautifull.

Athens with NO sleep!
It's Ok.
Stayed with family to celebrate new years. The hotel has few amenities. The pool has an beautiful view BUT it closes at 8pm!!!! The hotel is some what isolated from eating areas and not much to do. At new years there were no activities for the hotel guest and too much security you felt intimidated to go to your room!!!

Not a very good location for a vacation
The hotel was well appointed but located such that it was the only convenient place to eat. I wouldn't stay there again for that reason alone Personnel were courteous and helpful. I was unable to keep up with my e-mail because the hotel computers were unable to access the Comcast logon page.
