Great deal
Old San Juan is a small historic district. Old San Juan Sheraton is right on the coast at its heart. 50¢ ferry just across the street to see the Bacardi factory with tours and samples. You can walk to anywhere in the old city from there. 10's of small local restaurants with great food. Went with 20 yr old who enjoyed visiting the additional 20 small bars just blocks away(drinking age is 18). All the amenities of a first class hotel. Concierge very helpful and recommended tours that were outstanding. Zip lining at Toro Verde was great. The taxi's, tours etc, all knew the hotel. No beach nearby but for a few bucks we took a taxi to a great one. No real need to rent car. Taxis were expensive but cheaper than car rental and you don't have to hassle with confusing streets. 4th night stayed free deal through [...]made it a good deal especially with a first class free breakfast buffet.

WE COULDN'T HAVE PICKED A BETTER HOTEL, THE STAFFS WERE GREAT. THEY HELPED US WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO KNOW. THEY HELPED US SAVE A LOT OF MONEY. THEY MADE US FEEL AT HOME. WILL MOST DEF BE GOING BACK TO THI HOTEL IF I AM IN PR.

The location of this hotel is PERFECT for visiting Old San Juan and the overall cost/value ratio is unbeatable. Very pleasant and helpful hotel staff. Most certainly, we will stay at the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino for our future trips to Puerto Rico.

Awesome location and staff
This was a very good location to have a "Girl's Night Out!!" The hotel is positioned directly in front of the port where the cruise ships dock. I actually ran into some old friends from college who were taking a cruise!! It was a phenominal location for shopping and eating. I will definitely make this a yearly trip!!!

Old San Juan and lots of little stores and good restaurants around and good food in both restaurants of the hotel. CVS pharmacy half the block of hotel!

In the middle of it all with a great staff!
We were able to easily explore historic and cultural site on Old San Juan and access tours/transportation to activities outside San Juan. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when Hurricane Irene put a crimp in the travel plans of guests.

Go to the Nuyorican for Salsa/Jazz/Bomba especially on Friday and Saturday. Remember, the night life doesn't really pickup until after 11pm.

Waiting for a Cruise
This hotel is perfect if you are boarding a Cruise ship in San Juan! The people were extremely helpful, the rooms were immaculate, and they even held our bags until we were ready to board the ship (after check-out at 11). We would definitely stay here again if we take another vacation to San Juan!

stay in old san juan and you will not have to rent a car. everything is in walking distance. buses are cheap and taxis are everywhere just waiting for you! the free breakfast buffet was so good i couldnt believe it was free!

Perfect Location
Our experience at the Sheraton Old San Juan was satisfactory in every way from the great people at the front desk (especially George) to the room itself. The location is perfect for seeing all the sights in the old town, close to shops and good restaurants, too. The restaurant in the hotel, Palio, is no longer Italian, but the food and service were spectacular! So is the view from the terrace. We have stayed there twice preceding cruises. Loved it both times and will definitely stay there again!

The free trolley stops just a block from there and there are several restaurants and a CVS drug store in case you forgot something essential. Plus you can pick up water, snacks, etc and it is almost next door to the hotel.

Great Hotel
Clean, Friendly,great location, roof top pool, work out room, casino and great buffet breakfest. My hotel room stay was great. The Sheraton bed was so comfortable that I had to force myself out of bed. Hotel is located right across the pier in old San Juan. This hotel is also very close to the musems and the outlet stores. Great stay.
