San Juan Park Hotel

stayed here rather than a "big box" hotel!! The staff was so nice (especially Hector!) and it was in the perfect location. We were close to Old San Juan, beaches, the bus, etc., and if we wanted to go to a different part of the island the highways were easily accessible. I would recommend bringing slippers to wear when in the room and on the balcony because the floors are dirty (especially on the balcony). Also, don't get freaked out by the outdated comforter; once you remove it you will see pristine sheets and blankets. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel. We will be going back!!!

The hotel was very nice and clean. I liked that a continental breakfast was included. The staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaints were that there wasn't a pool and because our room was on the side of the street we could hear all of the traffic noise. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

The staff was AMAZING! Rudy at the front desk took great care of us and helped us get around. I would most certainly visit again!

Rooms were clean for Puerto Rico, breakfast food was prepackaged (processed type like out of a vending machine) but the coffee was good. Be careful staying on the 2nd floor as the street in front of the hotel was very busy and there were a lot of garbage/semi trucks making lots of noise starting at about 5:00AM.

The Rooms are Small But Comfortable & Clean and staff was curtous

Near everything does not necessarilly means right there but 1 mile to El Condado where you can more sofisticated places to eat and shops and 1.5 mile on to Old San Juan where you have the freat view of El Morro, San Cristobal and walking along the Princess Street, which near is the ferry to take to Cataño where you can visit the Bacardy Factory......along with that in Old San Juan you can enjpoy shooping and eating...... Staff was very friendly..... PS it is very safe to walk around as when I was there I saw cops in every corner... Buses are C.50 and the stop is one block away going and coming...

The balcony was nice and roomy but very dirty. I would prefer that they get rid of the balcony and use that space for the room. Room was small for a suite and you could not see the TV from the couch...

This was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel was conveniently located near Condado beach (about a five miinute walk), and Old San Juan (about a 25 minute walk). The room was a great value for the money and very clean. The hotel staff was wonderful and assisted in arranging taxis, excursions and giving helpful recommendations. This hotel does not have a pool, but with a quiet beach nearby it wasn't really missed. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will likely stay here again.

The linens on the bed were stained or dirty. The floors looked dirty. Asked for linens for my son bed because it was not made, simply covered by a comforter and pillows. When they arrived instead of house keeping coming in to make it they handed the linens to my husband thru the doorand took off. We had asked for one extra towel and wash cloth but was told by the front desk that house keeping had gone home for the day and they had none to give. The noise level from the street below was a real turn off as well. If and when we return it will not be here....
