Good value. Good experience
I read a lot of negative commments about this hotel before. I was nervous checking in. This place turn out to be of great value! Room is clean, although furniture is old. Staff is ok, and the restaurant downstairs is wonderful! You can eat and drink by the sea. There is no smell in my room at all. Elevator is working well. Considering the price, which is half of the rate with nearby hotels, it's a good place to stay. It's within walking distance to the luxury shops, and 5 minutes drive from old San Juan. Parking is 18+tax/day, which is a bit expensive. If you go a few feet, parking is only 8/day.

So much to do
This hotel is in the perfect location! The hotel was recently renovated and the staff were very friendly and helpful! This was a girls trip and we never ran out of things to do! Strongly reccomend!

Nothing Like the Pictures!
I use travel discount websites all the time and this is the first time that the hotel does not match the description and pictures found online. The rooms are bare, there is no scenic backyard beach, and the location is not walking distance from the center of Old San Juan. Yes the hotel is very affordable so I guess you get what you pay for, but do not be fooled by the pictures. The backyard beach is not even accessible and is surrounded by rocks so you cannot event get in. Also when we arrived the hotel had no running water for 20 minutes and our phone line did not work nor did they ever fix it even though we informed them about it. I would not stay here again.

Nothing Like the Pictures
I use travel discount websites all the time and this is the first time the description and pictures did not match those listed online. The rooms are bare, the backyard beach is not accessble and there are no cabanas. The hotel was located far from Central San Juan and located in a block of hotels. Nothing much to do around. When we arrived there was no running water and our phone did not work. They did not fix the phone problem even after we informed them. The next day the curtains fell down when we tried to open them. This place was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend it.

HORRIBLE
THIS HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE, SERVICE AND STAFF WAS BAD. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. THE ONLY GOOD WAS THAT THE BEACH WAS BEHIND HOTEL AND THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL....

Weekend getaway
Overall you get what you pay for. Had. Problems flushing the toilet. Staff was great and very helpful! Wasn't the best but def wasn't the worst.

I shared my room with Cockroaches
The room smelled like mildew, when I turned on the light in the bathroom cockroaches scattered, the blind on the window feel off when I pulled on it to close, storm shutters would not open all the way so windows where blocked, wires hanging out of wall, stains on the sheets and furniture. It would have been cleaner to sleep in the dumpster. Cannot believe that this is even on the site. All the front desk said was sorry
