The Lima Restaurant at Ave. Ponce de León 667, is close by and one of the best Peruvian Restaurants I have ever eaten. For those who don't know it, Peru has some of the best food in the world. It's always busy, but worth it.

Excellent Choice
I stayed at Marriot at Stellaris Casino in Puerto Rico for 4 nights in March 2013. The hotel was an excellent choice and could not have been any better. The amenities were great - multiple pools, room service, gym, 24-hr front desk. Staff was super-nice and very accommodating; they were always greeting you with a smile and trying to make your stay better. Hotel itself is right on the beach. Its located on a main strip with multiple dining and nightlife options. It felt safe to walk around at night. There was a bus that stopped right outside the hotel that could take you to Old San Juan. Hotel had a casino attached which was convenient. I've stayed at other Marriott hotels before and they never disappoint. This one was perfect for our trip in terms of amenities, service and location. I would definitely stay again.

Great Vacation for Mom and Teens
We just came back from a week at the Marriott and and had a great time. The location was very convenient - we had trips to Dorado, the Rain Forest and Bio Bay and old San Juan and they all worked well from this location. We arrived before check in time and they had a room ready, with double beds as we requested with a wonderful ocean view. The beach was great - good staff for chairs and umbrellas, a convenient and good restaurant by it and big enough waves that 18 year old boys were happy. The pool and hot tub were great and my boys enjoyed the exercise room as well. We had room service with a quick delivery and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful for any request we had. They even let us have a late check out which was really convenient. The only tiny glitch was one day when 2 of the 4 elevators weren't working - the back up to get up and down was a mess. But, they got them fixed within a few hours and when all 4 were operating, there was no delay at all. Another thing that was great about this location was that there were all kinds of restaurants, StarBucks, ice cream stores, Walgreens, etc. on the same street, so it was really easy to keep everyone in the family happy!

Short walk from hotel
We used Avis rental - it was on the same street but down a few blocks. The prices were a little better than the Hertz prices at the hotel and the service and car were great at the Avis location.

great stay
we had a great time at the Marriott Stellaris. The hotel is super clean, staff very friendly and in a great location. We were within walking distance to many restaurants, and the city bus which is a quick ride to Old San Juan. The fitness room was great. The beach was beautiful. Adult pool we pretty small with limited seating was the only drawback.

MOLD MOLD in Room!! But Great location
Went for My 30yr Birthday with girlfriends Weekend Trip! We moved 3 different times and still ended up in a room that smelled. There was mold growing on the outer door entry to the two adjoining rooms and each room we were moved to either smelled of sewage or mold. It got to the Point we stayed in the Last room after talking with Managment the hotel was sold out they colud not move us again. they Took $400 off our Stay and a Free Excursion! :} Great! But still got sick from the Moldy room. Veiw was Beautiful from the Room. Great Location on the Condado not fair from Old San Juan {Must Go} Food wasnt that Great so we mostley ate at local places one place was awsome up the street walking distance serverd great pizza for got the Name of place?& Cheap Upon returning home all of my clothes… smell of mold... even those that I never wore. The people were great but beware this is a very poor country so some may be genuine and others may just be playing on your sympathy. I would not return and primarily due to the rooms... I think they have a serious mold problem! Puerto Rico People are Reserve Kinda up tight next time i go will stay on Isla Laverde more of a Carrebian Feel.

Birthday getaway
Never disappointed. This was our 3rd stay here at the Marriott and we loved it each time. Rooms are clean, views are fabulous, staff are great. Definitely try to get a package that includes breakfast, it is a great breakfast but a little pricey if you have to pay for it. The location is great for walking to local shops and only a few minutes away from Old San Juan. This trip was for my birthday and we traveled with six other couples who were also very satisfied. Past stays have been with children and family and we were just as happy. Thanks Marriott and see you again soon.

Pretty cool.
Pretty good spot if you wanna just chill. Beachfront, which is a must. The rooms were clean, the restaurants were good and the swim up bar helped me stay hydrated :) The hot tub is an over chlorinated luke warm bathtub, and I'd say that, and the night clubbish loud music at night were the only thing that seemed out of place. Walgreens is down the block for all your sunblock/snacks, etc. and my husband says one of the best burgers in town is at "Buns" across the street. Friendly staff, good place.

Good for young kids
My kids are four and under so the kid pool and being on the beach were sufficient to keep them occupied. If your kids are older and you are looking for more than just being near the beach than consider other options. 20 minutes by bus from Old San Juan, an enjoyable area. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
