Marriott San Juan Resort and Stellaris Casino

the hotel and location is perfect. the beach i right outside your door and all local restaurants are literally across the street. the staff is great, room is spacious and clean and the view is wonderful. my husband and i had such a great time. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I had booked 2 city view rooms which cost 179 a night but when i got there they ask me if I wanted to upgrade to beach /pool view for 25 dollars more a night. I said yes it was better. When speaking to other guests who stood there too said there breakfast was included mine was not. It cost me for 3 an average of 60.00 a day eating there at the hotel for 4 days I was disappointed other travel services included food according to the another guest. I am disappointent about that issue! The hotel is getting outdated the place is old the new hotel on the same block i would stay there and not at the Marriot

It was really nice, the location is not in centre, ( about 15-20 dollars by taxi to old San Juan)but it's have their own advantage, not so noisy and I guess in old San Juan quite difficult to find reasonable hotel for reasonable price. Staff is very helpful ,the room was city view, but pretty quite.nothing negative to say, if I were in San Juan would stay again and defiantly recommend to the others.

I got in about 1:30pm and check in at reception and the receptionist took my information and told me that since check in is not until 4.00pm she will call me as soon as a room is available. I strolled around the hotel for about 15 mins and came back around to the reception area and I saw the same receptionist in a different area and I asked her if anything is available she went on the computed and she found me a beautiful room I was so greatful because I was very tired from my trip. She was so helpful. By the way her name is Amy very nice lady. The room and view was breath taken. The only complaint is when you enter the elevator that is close to the bathroom if smells funny. Otherwise everything is great. Food is expensive but great.

This was a first time in a long time we got a chance to get away. We were extremely happy with the hotel. Very clean, every staff member extremely friendly and great locale. Lovely pool and right on the beach. We would have been very happy just to stay there.

I went with 2 other girlfriends and we chose Marriott knowing its 4 stars so it should be a well above average hotel but we were disappointed in their customer service. We arrived before 4pm and they said they dont have our room ready yet but if we upgrade to a pool view room then the room will be ready immediately, we decided not to upgrade and just waited at the beach. When we arrived at our room, we found that one of the sheets were dirty with some stains so we called to have them replaced, they said they will come immediately to change them. We waited over 1 hour and no one showed up yet so we called again. After another 30 minutes someone finally came to change the sheets. We also asked if there is complimentary breakfast that is included with our booking and whoever we spoke to said we do. The next morning we went down to get breakfast and they told us we dont have complimentary breakfast, so we went to front desk to check again and they said according to our booking, breakfast is not included. Their staff apparently dont know what they are talking about and what annoyed me was when they said they dont have a record of who took our call the previous night. We spoke to the manager and he said hes sorry but there's nothing he can do. Really now? Nothing? He could have at the very least do something to make our stay there a little more enjoyable after dealing with their incompetent staff for the first 2 days of our arrival. The manager definitely did not take us seriously because we look young, when we told him were never going to return he just said okay. I think its time for Marriott to reconsider the staff they hire and step up to their 4 star rating.

We felt as though we were staying at a 5 star hotel , I've never been at a more people friendly Hotel. We are making plans for a return trip next year ! Thank you and your great staff .

The hotel staff was outstanding, full 24 hour gym, beautiful pool area, casino downstairs, bar area was always a lot of fun.

The hotel staff and facilities were reasonably good. The room was small and the bathroom made you feel like a sardine. No room at all in the bathroom. You could not move around with the bathroom door always in the way. Also, the rug made your feet feel wet and left dirt marks on the bottom of your feet. The pool was small and had no depth. The ocean and the way the empolyees treated you was excellent.
