Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel. Nice staff, extremely clean hotel. The pool set-up is not the greatest, but not a big deal because huge beach is great as well. Hotel is in a very nice area, with good local restaurants nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great romantic getaway
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. It's right on a very nice beach which was made even better by the chair and umbrella service offered by the hotel. The staff was polite and attentive. We enjoyed several meals and happy hours at the hotel. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant! The best part about the hotel was the location. There are so many bars and restaurants within a short walk it was hard to decide where to go first. I would definately stay here again.

Short drive from hotel
Old San Juan was a lot of fun. It's a very cool area with a lot of shops and dining options. It's a fun place to spend a leiserly afternoon or enjoy drinks and dinner. One caution, be careful parking and fold in your mirors. The roads are really narrow!

Great Hotel-Fantastic!!!
Really enjoyed this hotel-it has the best location in Candado-so many restaurants just "around the corner". The facilities were beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for you. When asking for directions within the hotel, they actually escorted you to where you wanted to go. (This happened on more than one occasion.) Didn't do the casino, but everything else from the restaurants on the premises, the beach, the room and the pools were really nice.

Restaurant Ommo is an Argentine steak place down the street from the hoetl. Good food and ambience.

Great Place to Stay
The hotel was very nice. Our room was beautiful with a great balcony view of the resort and ocean. There were many stores and lots of dining options within walking distance. There was a hidden "resort fee" of $50 some dollars for our two day stay. Over all, if the price is not a problem, it's a great place to stay.

We found out that if you are dining in San Juan, do not make plan for the rest of your day. Most of these places do not get in a hurry. Allow one to two hours just for breakfast, and don't be surprised if you have to help the wait staff determine your bill. This happened three times at three different places

Overall good, but ...
Location and condition of the hotel is good overall, but willingness to help was overall poor. We have arrived to the hotel about 4 hours earlier then the scheduled check-in time (4pm). normally most hotels can and do accommodate visitors sooner, but in my case receptionist took my cell and promised to call the moment the room would be available. Us 4 and my infant daughter waited 3 hours w/o a call until my wife double-checked on our rooms, and miraculously they were available (they never called). We have also booked two identical rooms and somehow one room was almost double the size of the other one (no clue as to why - they cost the same). Next day no one cleaned our room, they forgot or missed. I had to call for new set of towels (at ~2pm), then second time at 8pm, to get our bed maid up. When time came to check out, I also asked for extension, but to no luck - maximum 1 hour extra where I needed about 3 hours. Food prices in the hotel restaurants are about as high as in Manhattan during lunch break if not higher: tea - $4, salad - $14, fish sandwich - $16.

Breakfast in Danny's International is a decent choice. Superb dinner choice is Argentinian grill Ummo (specials). Nice romantic dinner - Perla at la Concha.

just so so for family ~
not too bad! The hotel location is good, but we pay extra fee buy ocean view,not directly face the ocean, we feeling not bad at this point .
