Nice hotel
We liked the location because there are many restaurants to choose from.Pharmacy, supermarket, bars, everything you can imagine was there close to you. The last night we spend at the hotel i went to the casino and the staff was pleasant and the best thing it was that i won some money. But we did not liked that the food inside the Hotel was very expensive.

Not what we signed up for
we did not get the room we booked on [...]. The room we booked online said that the room would have a dining area & living/sitting area. Our room had neither. The first room we were put in was very small and NOT the correct square footage. The furniture in the room was dirty. The shower and bathroom area was not clean. The beds were not 4 star quality. I've stayed in Renaissance properties before, like Marriot, Courtyard and the beds are usually really comfortable i.e. thick mattresses, fluffy pillows, nice bedding, etc. We were moved the second night, but to a slightly bigger room, however same types of beds. (still no dining area and living area) When I book a room, that is the most important thing to me, the bed and the size of the room. We were told there were better rooms, but only had 1 king bed, with sleeper sofa. We had 4 adults in our party.the grounds were nice. nice beach. nice outdoor bar area.

Good first getaway
We were impressed by the Hotel at the initial entrance. Very classy and elegant. Hotel staff were always courteous. We had a few incidents were there was a miscommunication on the staffs part, where they entered into our room while we were relaxing, but the overall stay was great. The location of the Hotel was great. We had an ocean-view room, which I recommend getting. The view was spectacular. The beach was amazing. We even saw a few movie stars at the hotel. We were only about a 5-10 minute taxi ride from Old San Juan, which is a beautiful city. This was our first trip away, a belated Honeymoon trip. It was definitely worth the money spent.
